It’s been two weeks since Ballister said he wanted to make amends and true to his words, I could see the efforts that he was putting but still, there was this nagging feeling at the back of my mind as if it was trying to tell me that something bad was about to happen. How could I keep on holding on to the hate I harbored inside for him when I could see how hard he was trying? When I could see those intense green eyes burrowing into me with desires, one that I had never seen in someone. He looked at me as if he wanted to eat me, as if I was standing naked to him despite the numerous clothing I had on, and sometimes it made me shiver knowing that there was someone who wanted me and that someone was my mate. A mate that hadn’t wanted me before.
