" What is happening?" Laura muttered turning to her friend again.
Elanor straightened her back and exhaled deeply, a cold chill running down her spine. She had to calm down. She could not be sure he knew what she was. Or who she was. Or at least that was what she tried to convince herself in this moment. Hazelnut eyes were closed shut, plump peach lips parted for air, head leaned slightly to the side.
She looked exactly like a doll. Standing there, with flawless porcelain skin, a set of pouted lips and soft, almost angelic features.
Isn't she adorable?
The man could smell her fear, her rising desire to flee the place and hide. It excited him. It made him intrigued, made him want to dominate her even more.
A distant howl echoed in his mind.
Let's get her! She's ours! Mate! What are you waiting for Aeolian?! Haven't you waited enough?
The wolf inside wanted to break free. It was maddening to be so close, yet so far away from touching her, marking her, adoring her... But things were much more complicated than they seemed in his wolf mind. She was not fit to be his Luna. She had nothing in common with him. They were natural born enemies from the day she agreed to bare the mark of a vampire. Even the thought of a vampire in the same room stirred something in him. She had no right to be here! And at the same time she did, she had all the right to be here, just as him. She was not on marked territory, so there was no need to turn violent. At least not violent to hurt her.
"Aeolian? Are you listening?" a voice pulled him out of his thoughts, his gaze shifting back to his friends, blinking a little confused.
A smirk crossed his lips, before he took a sip of his drink.
"Not really if I may be honest." the man admitted moving his gaze back to the place he had seen the platinum haired woman.
Dark brows furrowed when he did not find her there, but met the blue gaze of her friend who was eyeing him suspiciously. It did not bother him to be stared at, his eyes immediately scanning the room to find the other woman ignoring Laura completely. She was a mere human that presented no interest to him at all.
"Excuse me." Aeolian spoke and downed his drink, sat his glass away and started following the vivid scent of peaches, moss and blood that tugged at his chest.
MATE! His wolf echoed barely holding back from springing out.
When she found herself unleashed from his uneasy stare, Elanor made her way to the bathroom.
I need to leave this place. I have no business being here. She told herself as she washed her hands and met her own reflection in the mirror.
With a swift move, the female turned on her heels and walked out of the bathroom, pushing the door open, her eyes gazing into nowhere as she walked out, but after a couple of steps, she found herself walking straight into a wall. She cursed herself mentally for a brief moment, before her lungs filled painfully with the same intoxicating scent as earlier. It made her chest heavy and mind blurry, eyes closing for a moment to process what was happening. Then it hit her.
Eyes snapped back open, gaze shot up to look at the man standing in front of her. Hazelnut eyes turned black, muscles tightened as she took a step back, nails turning into claws, canines growing painfully to a length where they pierced her bottom lip.
The man seemed to not be bothered by her reaction, his eyes turning from blue to a pitch black, chest raising slowly as they filled with air. His hands were in his pockets. He was throning above her at about 6'4 from what she could tell, with a very athletic figure, muscles defined beautifully even under his grey suit. His shaggy hair was pitch black, his face lean and angular with a strong jaw and defined cheekbones.
He could snap me in half! Elanor thought as she stared at him terrified. What could she do?! He was blocking her path completely.
The man's hand reached out to her grabbing her arm and pushing her back into the bathroom before anyone would notice her like that.
Inside the small room, she found herself cornered against the wall, with his body blocking any escape. A silent whine escaped her lips when his face got closer to hers. His lips had parted, showing off his huge canines. With eyes closed shut, her mind and body froze waiting for the end of her. But it never came. There was no bites, no claws ripping her chest open. She felt a warm touch on her ear, heard his shaggy breath and his nose that started to move down and behind her ear, taking in her scent.
The vampire woman smelled divine and yet disgusting. Mark her! MARK HER! was the only thought that rushed in his head, as his body moved closer to hers, pressing her against the wall even tighter.
Elanor felt a weakness in his stance, and before he knew it, she escaped under his arm and run out of the bathroom, leaving Aeolian alone, hard and aching in the bathroom.
Little could she care of what people thought of her as she stormed out of the building, run in her car and hit it off, driving home.
A drive that earlier lasted twenty five minutes, now only lasted ten. Once in her driveway she hit the brakes and run inside, locking the door behind her and closing every single way of access to the house.
With every curtain closed, every door locked and every window secured, Elanor fell on the sofa, shaking lightly.
Her heart was racing frantically and her breath was still not steady. She needed a plan. She need to leave or stay and fight for herself. She could excuse herself by saying she did not cross any border, she did not have any contact with a wolf since she moved and as a proof she was not harmful, there were no deaths since she arrived. She did not kill any human being and she did not plan to do so. She had every right to stay and be left alone!
After convincing herself she was safe, the woman gracefully pushed herself up slowly, unpinned her hair and made way up to the bedroom. An unsteady hand run through her silk like long hair that reached her waist and unraveled effortlessly on her back.
She opened the door of her bedroom and stepped inside to undress. Piece by piece, clothes were stripped and laid on the bed, leaving her body naked. Elanor had an almost flawless body. Her back was scared from long ago, times she wished she could forget, times where she served as a slave for a merciless king. Times long ago vanished that marked her body and mind forever.
Her breasts were still round and playfully perky, swaying with every move of hers, waist healthy shaped, hips to match her shoulders and full plump thighs. She trailed to the bathroom, lost in thoughts or maybe with a blank mind, since she did not notice she was being watched.
Small feet stepped inside the shower and the woman turned the water on to warm her body, soothe her muscles and mind.
Meanwhile, the door of the balcony opened with no resistance. Heavy footsteps leaving wet prints on the hardwood floors of her bedroom were barely heard.
Aeolian stopped and took off his shoes respectfully for the house was flawlessly clean and he respected that. At least that if not her privacy as well.
He was soaking wet, meaning he made it here without a car. His hair was dripping on the floors as he made his way around, looking around the bedroom. He liked her taste. Minimal and efficient , that's how one could describe it.
The coat went off and fell of the floor as he took a sit on the window sill, arms crossing on his chest as he waited patiently for her to come out.
Eventually the water stopped and Elanor stepped out. Her long hair was dripping small droplets and her body was steaming from how hot the shower was.
She grabbed a towel and wrapped it around her body and another one around her hair to dry it.
The bathroom was flooded with fruity scents and she could not feel what was waiting for her.
When her foot landed in the bedroom, the smell of wet dog and wood made her stomach twist. She jumped immediately scanning the room and finding him against the sill, arms crossed over his chest and cold blue eyes pinning her down again. The weight of his stare was enormous but she did not flinch this time. Her jaw clenched and her arm reached up to protect the towel wrapped around her instinctively. Eyes locked again and she could notice the shift of color in his own eyes.
Silence set between them, as tension vibrated in the air. Eventually, Elanor spoke breaking the eye contact.
"What do you want, wolf? You're in my home and coming in uninvited it's very impolite." she stated as she walked as far away from him as possible, to the other side of the bedroom to grab some clothes.
"I did not break any of your rules. I'm not on pack territory." she stated proudly, standing her ground.
But the man did not answer. His gaze was fixed on her. His wolf was raging to break free. It was painful. It was almost breaking him. Her scent was all over, she was right there, her body looking so warm, tasty and fragile. Even he was afraid she would crumble under his touch. He could not help but allow his eyes to roam her exposed skin with hunger, desire slowly growing painfully in his grey pants. But he snapped out of it when his eyes noticed the few visible scars running from her shoulders under the towel that gave her some privacy from his lustful eyes.
"You are not welcomed here. Not like this." Elanor stated, anger rising, fear spreading within her chest as she could not point what the man wanted.
Aeolian exhaled deeply and slowly untangled his arms from his chest running both his hands in his hair pushing it back.
For a moment, the woman could not pull her eyes away from him. In this light, with soaking wet clothes and almost vulnerable, she could actually say he was handsome. Desirable.
"I forgot to introduce myself." the man spoke, his husky voice sending chills in her body.
A light hissed curse was whispered by her to the reaction he got from her.
"Aeolian Corvin is my name. Alpha of the Lycan Blood pack."
And now Elanor understood why he terrified her. She had never met an alpha before. Were they all this strong? This oppressing and dominating?
Her head bowed slightly in respect.
"Being an alpha does not entitle you to be here without my consent. I respect your status, but I ask for you to respect my privacy and my rights as well."
Aeolian seemed to ignore her completely. He pushed himself away from the sill and started to close the distance between them slowly.
"I do respect your privacy. But that is not important right now."
"Why are you here Alpha Aeolian?"
Hearing his name from her lips pulled a light growl of satisfaction from his chest. His steps did not stop until he was inches away from her, hand reaching to cup her chin and lift her gaze up.
When their eyes met again, he brought his face closer to hers, pulling her face upwards and forcing her to go on her toes.
"An alpha needs a Luna. And I've come to claim mine." Aeolian's voice was lower, more guttural, growing and coming from his chest.
His wolf was taking over. Icy blue eyes turned black again, breath shaggy and bulge harder as he set his forehead on hers, noses brushing slowly, his lips parting, warm breath hitting her terrified face.
"Luna? LUNA?!" her voice rose from her chest, shaking and uneasy as she pulled away uncomfortably, stepping backwards, eyes wide in disbelief.
"Is this some sick joke of yours?!" she yelled at him, her chest heavy and aching with longing. "Go f-"
Words were muffled as the man suddenly launched at her, his lips smashing against hers, not giving her the opportunity to protest. Small fists started hitting against his chest, but he stopped her by wrapping his arms around her tightly.
Elanor was not sure if she would pass out or melt in his arms. Her strength had faded from her body, her will to fight started to disintegrate. She seemed to surrender against every sane thought she had.
Apparently she was the Luna of Alpha Aeolian.
God's knew what they had planned, for she could not see this unravel event less and easy.
