By now the pack had grown so much that they needed their little buses to take the young ones to the festival or the convoy would just be too huge. Moms could not let “chaperones only” go. What if their child found their mate and they aren’t there?! Fathers had to follow mothers to make sure their bank accounts weren’t emptied on the shopping done at the festival.
Young ones were way over-excited and put in their buses for the safety of the parent's sanity... and finally, the entire convoy of 12 buses left.
“This is all your fault you know!” Frank looks at his very pregnant wife. They have four little ones running around the house with the fifth on the way.
“What? The noise? The excitement? Or the baby?” she smiles at him
“All of it!?” he pretends to be angry kissing her in her neck.
“Do you want another set of twins by any chance?” Melissa teases Frank
“WHAT?” He sits up straight
Melissa nearly falls off the chair with laughter.
“I am kidding my handsome wolf!” She laughs so loud the parent's bus nearly goes silent
“Don’t joke with things like that! I will have a heart attack!!” He looks at her positively panicked.

“DAD! Circe won’t let me use her lip-gloss!!” Glinda complains.
It is the morning of the Beltane festival. There is chaos in the house of the Lunar Pack Alpha’s house. Frank sits calmly having his breakfast in the kitchen while his daughters are running around the house, up and down the stairs, glitter flying... Their mother of course ran with the excuse of having to go find each of them special flowers for their hair.
Big woose, she has been running away every year since the girls were old enough to dress! He on the other hand just sits there like a statue, ignoring their complaints, fights, and in general nervousness. The festival only starts later that afternoon, but the excitement starts when the first one opens her eyes.
“DAD! I can’t find my other pink slipper for tonight!!! I have looked everywhere!” Isobel shouts in a panic, “Never mind! I found it!”
Frank looked up to the room where she was shouting from, not getting up from the table, waited for two seconds listening, and then nodded when she found it. Total unnecessary hysterics if you asked him. It was a party, they were supposed to enjoy themselves. Their mother wasn’t this crazy the night they met!
“DAD!! I have nothing to wear!”
That would be Willow...
“DAD! Me neither!”
And there goes, Tabatha. The twins never have anything to wear! Their cupboards are so full their clothes are all over the floor most of the time, but they have nothing to wear, ever! Oh, moon goddess save me from these women in my house! Frank gets up with his cup of coffee and his newspaper, walking outside to sit on his porch.
At least out there it should drown out some of the noise and he can sit comfortably with his feet up. Big mistake! The entire pack’s girls seem to have lost their minds today.

“Poor Frank! I need to hurry mom. My darling husband looks after the girls every year when I come out to pick their Beltane flowers. Okay well, I do enjoy the quiet time away from the chaos, but selecting their special flowers is a tradition like you taught me... Mom, I miss you here with me.” Melissa sighs
Her mother moved on to her next life in the second moon cycle after Willow and Tabatha’s births.
Going to the parts of the forest where she knows to find each daughter's flowers, all she has to do is find the flower that speaks to her. Each flower will speak to her daughter’s mate should he be at the festival. It is a tradition that has been part of their coven for centuries.

“Which dress dad?”
“The pink one honey?”
“But that one makes me look fat!” Circe looks up at him upset.
“The blue one then.”
“UGH! You are no help!” She stomps her foot running back inside.
He sits watching the forest breathing life in and out while smoking his pipe.
“At the rate, your girls are running around, you will only get to the festival next year!”
Every year the chaos is more intense. The girls reaching ages where they should be meeting mates makes it worse.
The annual Beltane festival is the highlight of the year. Each kind of creature you can think of attends and they have all sorts of interesting activities. There are even some hand-fasting ceremonies.
“I would like at least one of you to get hitched this year!” Frank shouts from outside making them shriek.
“DAD!?”
“WHAT?! You are growing old! I want you out of my house.” He smiles waiting for another shriek.
It is one of those times where he can get a bit of satisfaction for all the times they give him such a hard time.
Melissa walking up the pathway to the house smiles at him.
“Been driving your daughters up the wall I hear? Fathers shouldn’t do that you know. They should be supportive and loving.” She smiles fighting to keep her laughter at bay.
“I am being supportive. I am supporting their idea to get hitched.” he grins at her making her burst out laughing.
“That’s not fair Frank! They are your girls! Our girls!” She laughs.
“Well go get your girls to calm down before they break down our entire house.” He kisses her before she walks into the house.
Like a typical mother Melissa has a way of calming her daughters the moment she walks into the house. She is a strict but loving mother. Calling all of them together she makes them take hands standing in a circle with them.
“Now girls, it is still early morning. Is there any reason to panic?”
“No mother,” they reply like a choir
“Then why all the electric energy in the house? You are running your poor father out of the house into the wilderness. You know how sensitive he is.”
