Derek's POV
I was ready to drive to school when my father called for me.
"Derek. I need to speak to you before you leave."
"Sure dad. Is something wrong?"
"No, let's talk into my office." He said and walked ahead, leaving me puzzled for a moment but soon followed behind him.
I mind-linked my sister to ask Jacob to pick up her giving her a ride since I didn't know how long this is going to take. She wasn't happy saying something that she will be late but I dismissed her.
I walked into my father's office and watched him seat in his chair. He signed as if something was bothering him.
"What's wrong dad?"
"Nothing, some problems with rogues around the borders. That is actually why I asked you to come here."
"You, want me to deal with them?"
"No. They haven't done anything wrong yet.
