Derek's POV
Today was a catastrophe. My beautiful mate didn't spare me even a look after that annoying slut sat with me. I thought things would be better at lunch but it only became worse.
"Derek?" Emily called me breaking me from my trance. "Are you ok?"
I just stood there like an i***t looking at her not knowing how I could fix it. I never thought that this would happen when I would finally find my mate. She was perfect so gentle and beautiful. All I wanted from the day I learned about mates, and what they are was to find her and give her everything, and here we are I found her and she doesn't even want to look at me.
