Ariana's POV
"Jemma, we have to do it."
"I know. I don't like it, but you are right. We have to do it." She answered me and then I felt it.
I was lying down beside Liam. He was softly snoring. I moved a little, sat up, and put my hands on his temples. I closed my eyes and tried to concentrate.
A cloud of fog. Everything was so confusing and blended that I couldn’t make sense of what I was seeing. I tried harder to focus on his memories, but he was blocking me without even knowing it.
“We have to gain his trust more. His wolf is also resisting us. He has just started to trust us. There is an invisible wall that is blocking us and it's him producing it.”
“You are right Jemma, we need to spend more time with him. He just needs time, to adjust, and trust us.”
