Ariana's POV
I sat down and took a deep breath. This is going to be painful.
"Sir, I don't know what exactly you want me to explain."
"You have already explained how you met with the rogue. Now explain to me your tattoos."
I looked at him and didn't utter a word.
"I don't know what to tell him."
"Anything you say can put him in danger."
"I know that!"
"Then what are we going to do?"
"I don't know Jemma."
After 5 minutes of silents, he signed and finally spoke.
"You don't want to tell me, isn't that right?"
"It is not exactly that?"
"Then what is it?"
"I don't think it is safe for you to know Sir. With all due respect, I am just trying to protect you." He signed again, and stood straighter on his chair with his elbows on the edge of the desk, looking me directly in the eyes.
