Elisa nodded and found nothing wrong with what William said, and her heart was slightly put down. She put the gift on her knee and turned her eyes out of the window.
William glanced at her movements from the corner of his eyes and said, "Don't be afraid, you met my parents and you have seen all three of them and they like you very much."
Elisa didn't want to be too nervous, so she found a topic. "How did Bruce become like this? When I got along with him, I found that there was no problem with his intelligence and behavior. Why didn't he talk?"
William's hand clenched without a trace, and faint veins stood out on the back of his hand.
Elisa had some surprise look at the action of William Brich, he looked dark and annoyed.
Actually, she wanted to inquire about the secret of the Brich Family.
Her glance fell in the eyes of William Brich. Did she want to quickly integrate into the life of the Brich Family? She thought.
Just when Elisa was entertaining foolish ideas, William Brich said in his voice as usual, "You will know later."
Elisa looked at him in surprise and didn't speak again.

Brich Manor was located on Round Mountain, far away from the urban area.
The whole mansion covered a wide area of land, but the residential area was not too large. There were a lot of green areas and public facilities, which was a perfect living environment.
William drove the car into the yard and stopped. Many flowers were planted in the yard, and at first glance, it was dazzling. People would think that they all grow naturally, but one would find that their placement was very reasonable and well planned if it was carefully looked at.
After hearing the sound of cars entering the yard, Mr. and Mrs. Brich came out from the house and stood aside to meet them.
William got out of the car in the middle of the night to open the door for Elisa.
Elisa got out of the car and handed the gift to Rebecca. She smiled and said, "Uncle and aunt, this is a gift selected by my parents for the two of you. Please accept it."
"It's very kind of them." Rebecca took the gift and opened it gracefully. It was Emily White's own pickled pickles and sour products, which were much more thoughtful than the gifts bought outside. "I will definitely ask your mother for advice on how to make this."
"She is very interested in the kitchen and would like to talk about it very much."
Rebecca took Elisa's hand into the house. "You have a long day. Take a rest first, and let's have lunch later."
Elisa listened to the arrangement of the Brich family. Entering the main house, she was surprised that they did not have the complicated decoration as she imagined.
One could see that there was elegance in simplicity.
Pads, chairs, murals, tea sets, seemingly ordinary, inadvertently reveal the feeling of elaborate arrangement, which made people feel neither distant nor that the home had no style and threshold.
Elisa thought that it should be the arrangement that people who were really rich would have.
If they did not show off their wealth actively, others would ignore their status.

After a hearty lunch, Rebecca let William take Elisa to familiarize herself with Brich Manor.
Elisa just thought that William would take her for a walk at the banquet. Unexpectedly, William took her directly to his room.
William Brich's so-called room was actually a small independent villa.
There were many things in his room, and almost all personal stuff was in it.
William Brich smiled. "You can have a look here. If you want to know me in private, it is the best way to go to my room."
Elisa was forced by the actions of William and his family. She didn't quite understand that such a high-ranking family as Brich would handle marriage in that way.
They went to the living room together. William looked at her curious face and didn't talk to disturb her. He turned into the kitchen and brought her a glass of milk and some small cakes.
Elisa stood in the living room for a long time and then thought that since William and his family didn't treat her as an outsider, she didn't need to be too stiff. With that in mind, Elisa walked to the wall with photos.
There were about 100 photos on that wall, each of which was framed and almost all photos of William Brich from childhood to adulthood and photos of him and Bruce.
Elisa stood in front of the photo wall and enjoyed it one by one. She was surprised to find William's diversity. The image of William in her heart was not fixed but changeable, and she could hardly see the same appearance in the photos.
She felt that he was cold to others, but his care for her and Bruce was real. She thought he was a good single father. She could see his meticulous care for Bruce, even simpler than other ordinary fathers, and she could not see his distress for Bruce with autism at all but only care.
Children look at people easier than adults. If William did not hurt Bruce, He would not just stick to him.
Elisa thought that William must be a very contradictory person.
"Are those photos so beautiful?" The voice of William suddenly appeared.
"It surprised me." Elisa replied, turned to look at the milk and snacks in his hand, and smiled. "Thank you."
William Brich put the milk and snacks on the side of the small table, and looked at the same photo Elisa was looking and said, "I used to laugh non stop."
Elisa didn't expect him to speak. So a mouthful of milk she had just drunk almost gushed out.
William looked at her coughing for a long time until she was comforted. He said, "I won't explain how our days will pass again and again. We are husband and wife now and in the future. You don't have to force yourself to adapt to my life so quickly, just follow your initial steps. As for the wedding, let the my parents handle it. If you have your own arrangements for the wedding, you can also say directly. "
Elisa looked at him in surprise. She didn't expect him to say such a thing.
William raised his eyebrows.
Elisa suddenly said, "What you said surprised me, thank you. Where is Bruce? Didn't he come to the mansion?"
"He hasn't dared to see me these days." William said.
Elisa was speechless.
William saw that she had drunk her milk and said, "Go to the backyard and have a look. There are many fields planted by my parents."
"They still farm?" Elisa was surprised.
"Yes, they said, it was self-cultivation." William Brich said, taking the lead going out.
Elisa followed him ..
