Chapter 4

2009 Words
Amaya's POV I walked off the stage after I picked up what was thrown on the ground. It was a slow night. There were plenty of people, but they weren't dropping much money tonight. It was a Wednesday night and so that could be part of the problem. When I got to my little changing station, I grabbed my phone to see if Ryan had texted me back. I sent him a picture of my flowers and asked if he had sent them. "Of course, baby." was his reply. "Then what was with the card, it said "little" on it?" I asked him and closed my phone. "Hey Alex, you have a request for a private dance," Bobby said behind me. "Anyone we know?" "No, some guy bought it for his friend?" "Are you free?" I asked again, annoyed that I would have to pay him. "I'm not sorry. You're on your own for this one. Room three," he said and walked away. I could always turn it down, but I needed the money. I put my top back on and headed to the room. I went in through the back door and poked my head through the curtain to see who it was, but I was a little scared by what I saw. There was a man sitting there but he had on a skeleton mask. He was also a large man. He had on jeans and a sweatshirt that was pulled up around his neck and his hands were in the front pocket. I took a deep breath calming my fast heart rate, "I'm sorry you will have to remove the mask for your dance." I watched through the little slit in the curtain as he shook his head no. There was something inside of me that was a little excited about this and if I'm being truly honest, a little turned on. I had no clue who this man was, and I couldn't' see his face. I wouldn't be able to see his reaction. I was crazy for doing this without security in here, but I wanted to. I closed the curtain and went to the music. It took me a minute to find the right song but once I saw it, I hit play and walked to the back of the stage. Something about this man made me want to impress him. I didn't crawl across the stage like I normally did. This time I walked in with the beat of the music shaking my ass as I went. When I got to the pole, I rested my back against it and slowly bent my leg up and grabbed my foot and pulled it over my head. Again, ballet was good to me. I wrapped my leg around the pole and flipped backwards, turned myself upside down and held on with that one leg while the pole spun. That was a move I had just learned and hadn't actually done for anyone yet but the way this man c****d his head to the side felt like he liked it. I continued to pull out my best moves and gave it my all. I took my top off and let my t**s bounce around. I ended on my back with my legs spread open for him. I felt his fingers run across the middle of my thong, tracing right along my p***y. I should have slammed my legs closed as fast as I could, but I didn't. Instead, I stayed still hoping that he would push them to the side and like magic he did. His finger ran along the seam feeling how wet I was. I let him put his finger in me and rub my clit. I could feel my orgasm quickly building but right before he finished me off, he pulled his hand away and dropped an envelope on the dance floor and walked out without saying a word. I grabbed the envelope and just laid there catching my breath wondering what the hell had just happened. I finally got off stage and walked to the back, still reeling over that encounter. I sat down at my little station and opened the envelope. Usually, they paid at the counter. I was shocked when I pulled a thousand dollars. There was a folded-up piece of paper in it. I unfolded it and it said mouse on it. I was confused. I had no clue who he was, but he seemed to know who I was. I went to the front counter where I collected my money from our private dances and there were another five hundred waiting for me at the counter. I can't believe that he paid me that much. I had gotten a few tips but nothing like this. I grabbed my money and went back to the back and put my usual baggy sweats and sweatshirt on and got the hell out of there for the night. I was riding a wicked high from this. I couldn't stop smiling. This eased things just a little bit and I could actually buy some decent food and pay my rent in advance. I could also send something special to my brother. I clutched my purse tight to me as I strolled down the street to my apartment. I had my mace in my other hand and went as fast as I could. Once I got inside my building, I ran up the stairs to my apartment and unlocked the doors as fast as possible and turned and locked it back up. Once I was locked in, I took a relaxing breath and went and set my purse on the counter and kicked my shoes off. I grabbed a cup of noodles not that it sounded good, but I didn't want to cook up the rest of my burger right now. I wanted to just eat something and crash for the night. Well, if I'm being honest, I wanted some d**k, but I knew that Ryan was asleep and even if he wasn't he wasn't going to come over this late. Maybe I could meet him tomorrow after I get off work. I would be tired for my second job but with the way I was feeling it was totally worth it. I woke up the next morning with a text from Ryan, telling me he told them to put for "his little one," on there but I had a feeling he was lying through his teeth. Those flowers weren't from him. Those two notes together didn't make sense but put in order it said little mouse. I sent Ryan a reply back asking if I could thank him when I got off work and of course he was quick to reply telling me he would meet me at my place as soon as I was off. It was always my place, never his. I didn't mind because that way when we were done, I could get some sleep and not have to go anywhere. We had a few emergencies at work and so it turned into a long day, and I so badly wanted to jump in and help but I continued to pretend to not know much, but I did triage them as they came in. It was an unusual day that's for sure and I was exhausted by the time I got to my apartment. I jumped in the shower really fast and waited for Ryan to get there but after an hour he hadn't shown, so I called him. "Hey baby, sorry, I called into a meeting and couldn't make it. I'm sorry I didn't call." he said. "Whatever. I'm going to get some sleep," I told him and hung up. I shouldn't be mad but damn it I was looking forward to this. We hadn't been together in a while, and it was so needed especially after last night and so I took care of the job myself. I walked in the back door of the strip club not feeling it tonight. It was going to be a fake it till you make it kind of night. I got ready for my first set. Once I was dressed, I walked to the entrance and waited for the lights to go down and once they did, I walked out to my spot and got into position. The lights started flashing throughout the crowd and sitting in the back was a man that looked familiar. I waited for the flash to hit him again and when it did, I stood in shock, not moving. The music started but I didn't move. I blinked a few times and when the lights flashed again, he was gone. I ran off the stage and straight to the back. I sat down in my little area and put my head between my knees. He wasn't out. I check the repository every day and it still shows him as incarcerated. "What the hell are you doing?" yelled my boss, Ollie. "Sorry. I can't go back out there tonight." He grabbed me by my hair and pulled me to his office. Once in there with the door shut, he threw me to the ground. He had never been this way towards me, but I had heard rumors. "You have one f*****g job, get up there and dance while taking your clothes off. You can either get the f**k out there and do what you are being paid to do or get the f**k out and don't come back." "You don't understand," I said standing up. "I don't f*****g care, do your job or get the f**k out," he yelled at me. "Go to hell," I yelled at him. He reached back, slapping me across the face. "Consider that your parting gift, now get the f**k out and don't come back," he yelled and opened his door. I walked out cradling my face with tears. I went straight to my desk and picked up my belongings, shoving them into a bag and left. Not a single person said a word to me. This just made everything ten times worse. I quickly put my clothes on as I got outside and headed to the subway. I got stares from people on the way home. Making my way down my street, someone came up behind me and grabbed my bag off my shoulder and took off running. "f**k you," I yelled out, but it did me no good. They kept running. They only got my clothes but still. This turned out to be the worst day ever. I got into my apartment and locked all the locks and went and cooked up the last of the hamburger I had. While it was cooking, I checked the repository, and it still listed him as incarcerated. I breathed a sigh of relief. It had to be someone who just looked similar. Plus, I didn't get a good look. It was just a blonde-haired man who was large like him. I finished cooking my hamburger and took it to my futon and started googling other strip joints. I hated that I had to do this, but I wasn't going back there that's for sure. I clicked on the first one. It was called Onyx. Looking through their website they had open auditions every Friday night. Perfect I could go there and show them my talent and I would have a new job. I took a long hot shower and put ice on my face at the same time. I would have a bruise in the morning that would require more makeup than normal. I just hoped that no one at the office would notice and if they did, they wouldn't ask questions. If I could I would go back and beat the s**t out of him. Maybe I will once I secure this job, go back with a baseball bat. I got out of the bath and went to bed actually getting a good night's sleep for the first time in a year.
