Amaya's POV
I could hear the beep of my heartbeat and the smell of antiseptic filled my nose. I'm not sure what happened. Either Mila realized that killing me wasn't a good idea or someone found me. Either way I'm good with it because it means that I lived. I wasn't sure if anyone was in here and I wasn't ready to open my eyes yet. I didn't want to face reality. If Dominic didn't know yet I'm sure he would soon, and I don't know what he will do.
I laid there with my eyes closed for a while but the urge to get up and go pee hit me. I opened my eyes and thankfully it was dark in here and my eyes really didn't need to adjust but then on each side of me were my two favorite people in the world. I don't know how they were asleep in those chairs; it looked so uncomfortable.
