“It’s too dangerous,” Alarick argued with my idea of using my power to freeze the space around me when they breach the walls and enter the dome. The soldiers around us were waiting for his decision with hope in their eyes as I tried to change his mind.  “So, just because you are afraid that something might happen to me, you are going to risk the lives of dozens of your people?” I raised my voice so everyone would hear me.
