I couldn’t believe what Albi and Galen had given me.
My Freedom! That was my first and foremost thought. I had never had so much space to run in, I was following the borders around the pack terriroty. It was absolutely humongous! You could have fitted the Citrine land in it at least five times over.
Something far more valuable though was that they had given me their trust. They believed that I would come back to them. They wanted me to come back to them just as much as I wanted to return. And the fact that Albi had stayed behind to protect Hope from Galen went above and beyond what any other wolf would do, I was sure of it.
