Hope's Point of view
I watched on in horror as Holly was brutally flung on the floor in front of our guests. She was on her hands and knees with her head bowed in submission. How humiliating for her.
I had no idea what could possibly have possessed her to steal from my father, but I knew she would have done it for the both of us. What was so important though that she had risked being captured like this? I figured she could explain it all to me later, but for now I had to protect her as much as I possibly could. Unfortunately, my job became a hundred times harder when she decided to let the liquid coal in her pupils bleed out until it reached the corners of her eyes. The Prince and the Beta both let out loud growels.
