Scarlett was sitting at a table in a cute little coffee shop, she had a glass of water to sip on while she waited for her friend to arrive. She smiled and sighed in relief as he walked in the door, she needed a good friend to talk to. He walked over and kissed her cheek before he sat down, then he gestured for the waitress to come over.
“How are you, Scarlett? You said you had a rough time?”
The waitress came over before Scarlett could answer, they both ordered a cup of coffee but Scarlett ordered her decaf.
“It’s so good to see you again Hendrix, it’s been a rough couple of weeks. I needed to see a friendly face today.” Scarlett huffed and tried to give a brave smile.
“I always have time for my first girlfriend.” Hendrix winked at Scarlett and gave her a sweet smile.
