...CONTINUATION FROM THE PREVIOUS EPISODE...
GABRIELE FERRARI
“Gabriele, I’m so sorry....” This was not even her fault, yet she looks so apologetic and sincere. She reminds me of someone I knew back then who had a heart of gold; always avoided conflict by being the bigger person by apologising, even when it was not her fault. We need people like them in this world.
“It’s okay, Principessa. I am the one at fault here as I stood in the doorway and abruptly turned without looking at who is behind me. I apologise. Are you okay; I hope I did not hurt you?” She nervously smiles, fidgeting with her hands. She is so cute.
"I am okay, thanks, Mr. Ferrari,"
As she goes down to pick up her handbag, I beat her to it and get it first.
“It seems like after our first encounter when I helped you with your car, I am kind of seeing you a lot more,” I say, still holding on to her bag.
“And I am starting to think that you are following me, signore,” She raises her eyebrow and pouts her lips.
I softly bite my lower lip and just absorb her for a moment. There is just something about this girl that makes me want to just take her out for dinner and get to know her a little more. This is the third time I am meeting her and as much as I don’t believe in fate, I don’t think this is a coincidence. We are meant to meet and one day, I might know the reason why.
“You would love that, wouldn’t you?” I tease her.
“You wish,” She says, chuckling.
“I wouldn’t mind though. It would be worth it,” I wink.
“Signore, are you flirting with me?”
“I don’t know what I am even doing, piccola ragazza, but is it working?” I lick my bottom lip.
“Oh, God,” Her face gets flushed from blushing. She drops her face shyly, unable to say a word.
“Babe! There you are… what is taking you so long and who is this person that you are standing with?” Elisa rudely drops her eyes at my new profound crush and stares at her with disgust. “Anyway, our pizza is hot on the table, let’s go,”
“Uhm, I am here to collect my order. I must go; my son is probably losing his mind, waiting for his pizza,”
Would it be rude for me to ask for her name, or should I continue calling her Principessa?
“You have a son? I do not see any ring on your finger. Are you not ashamed of having a child before marriage?” Elisa’s rudeness is definitely pushing me off to the edge. I give her a warning look, showing her how pissed I am right now.
“Elisa, if you don’t have anything nice to say, DO NOT say anything at all. Apologise, right now,” I warn her in a firm tone. She stays quiet and rolls her eyes.
“It’s okay, signore. I am in a hurry, can I have my bag, please,”
“See, babe? Even she is okay with what I said because she knows that it is a shame to have a child before marriage,” She snatches the bag from my hands and throws it at Principessa who was quick enough to catch it.
“What the f**k, Elisa? Signorina, I truly apologise. I don’t know who this rude, selfless lady is and I have never met her before. I apologise for this, alright?”
The lady just smiles and shrugs. I am flattered by her smile, showing her beautiful teeth.
“What the hell, Gabriele? What do you mean you don’t know me? Gabriele, don’t f**k with me; how dare you deny me in front of this b-”
“I dare you to say it, Elisa, I f*****g dare you!” Elisa sounds like a fly that keeps coming back to play around my ear and I am so annoyed and have had enough of her. How dare she disrespect my Principessa in front of me. Lord help me not to lose my cool because I am about to f**k up this b***h.
The girl just turns around and walks further inside the restaurant. I also turn to the door and start leaving.
“Babe… where are you going?” Elisa runs behind me.
“Away from you and DO NOT follow me if you know what is best for you!” I yell without even turning to look at her as I keep walking.
“What about our lunch?”
“I lost my appetite.”
“Babe, do not do this, please… I am sorry,”
I abruptly turned and charged towards her aggressively and stopped right in front of her.
“Sorry? Do you even know the meaning of it? I have always known your behaviour, but never did I ever think that you are the type of woman that would bring down another woman’s self-esteem. Because of what, jealousy? What about you? Have you not heard that s*x before marriage is a sin? I am so disgusted by you right now and so disappointed. Do I ever want to be with someone like you for the rest of my life? I don’t think so, signora,” I take out my wallet and take out a chunk of banknotes before I throw it at her. “You probably expected me to pay for the food, so here it is. From now on, stay away from me. It is OVER!"
“I’m sorry, baby. Please don’t leave me,” She grabs my arm tight and tries to pull me back to her, crying, but I yank my arm off her and walk away from her. Only now do I realise that we have an audience. I am probably going to make it on the internet for sure.
Ignoring them, I walk back to the office.
“Signore, I did not expect you so soon… signore Ferrari?” Rachel tries to get my attention, but I ignore her, heading to my office.
I shut the door after I have walked in and heave a loud sigh. It is a sigh of relief, trust me. I mean, just then I was thinking of ways to break up with Elisa, but she made it so simple for me by asking for it. Like I said earlier: I do not believe in fate, but this is definitely not a coincidence. That princess has an effect on me, and if it was not for her, I would still be in a relationship with Elisa, so I should thank her. One gone, one more to go.

Later on, after work, my chauffeur arrives on time as expected. I get in the car and tell him where to take me. I have a dark business to attend to urgently before I go to my lonely house.
Thirty minutes later, I am walking into the warehouse, and I am met by Pablo who does not waste any time but leads me to the basement where he is keeping the man we have been looking for — the man that broke into Princess's apartment. I am also let know that the watch was not found.
We get down in the basement and I find two other men guarding the man covered in a cotton bag, probably sleeping. I take the bottle of water from the table, and I open it before I throw all the water on the man’s face and he wakes up panting, screaming, and kicking his feet that are tied together. He surely thought he was drowning.
“Boy, you sure scream like una puttana.” (Like a bitch.)
I pull the bag off his face and shook my head. He looks like he is in his thirties if not older.
“Relax, you are not drowning, but it sure felt like it,” I laugh. “Oh, well… It is so fun to just watch people suffer for their own sins; I mean, everything and everyone must suffer their own consequence because that is only fair, right?”
“What do you want from me?” The man speaks.
“The same thing that you wanted when you broke into a woman’s house who lives with a child. Where is it?” I ask.
“I do not know what you are talking about,”
“Oh, you know very well what I am talking about, but you are just going to deny it, aren’t you? Pablo, give me my machine, please,”
I pull a chair and I sit in front of the man and pour the rest of the water on his pants and feet. Pablo comes pushing a machine on its wheels and stops next to me.
“Start talking,”
“Kiss my ass,” He provokes my patience, but I do not give in as yet.
“You probably have an ass of a b***h, but I am not interested, so I am going to ask again: start talking,”
This time he does the unexpected and spits on my face. I look at Pablo and nod my head at him while I take out a handkerchief to wipe my face.
Disgusting!
The man screams so loud, vibrating on the chair.
“You did not expect that, did you?” I let out a mischievous laugh. “You thought these men would make you sit on a steel, uncomfortable chair for nothing? That is an electric chair and let me tell you something… it hates water,”
“f**k you!”
“Alright, alright. Are you ready to talk or should my friend here just get the machine to the second level?”
Still stubborn, he refuses to talk. Pablo does not wait for my call but turns on the machine to the second level, making the stubborn men growl in his seat longer than the first shock.
“How was that?” I ask after the machine was turned down.
“Okay… fine! I sold it at the Pawnshop. I swear I only stole a watch, nothing more,” He says, panting in agony.
“Which Pawnshop?”
“The one in Festival Street. It is the only Pawnshop there,” He confesses.
“It is 6:30 PM, and they close at 7:30 PM. If you take the road Via del Corso, you will get there on time,” Pablo hints. I look at the man and ask:
"Why did you break into the woman's house? What made you specificall go there? Is it because she is a woman?"
He goes quiet, and I just punch him in the stomach.
"I hate men like you, do you know that? You deserve to be eliminated in this world. Let me not waste any more time. Just do not release him until I find the watch. In the meantime, make him experience all the levels that the chair comes with,”
“Con piacere.” (With Pleasure.)
Pablo enjoys this kind of jobs, but we never kill. We do not believe in killing, because that is like sending the person to peace. The word PEACE is NOT in my vocabulary. Whoever double crosses me must SUFFER horribly before they die. I want them to feel the pain; just like other people I know that ruined me. God knows that I am coming for them. I am Gabriele Ferrari, and everyone should should fear me because I once died, but I came back ten times stronger, and I am hell itself. All those who crossed me in the past will pay harshly. They will get on their knees and beg me to stop. Braze yourselves, enemies because I am coming for you!
