“Dad, where the hell are you going?” Day asked frantically as everyone watched Illan and
Justice head for the door.
“That goes for you, too, dad. This is a hell of a time to take off,” Ethan replied angrily.
“I need to put a call out to the rest of the clutch right away. All dragons must be put on alert. I’ll be right back. The rest of you stay here and keep King Destrain and the heir apparent safe,” Illan ordered as he ran past Baldwin’s men, who stood outside the door. Illan immediately shifted, and his seven-headed dark-blue dragon took to the skies.

“I need to call Doc Rob and get him here to check the king, and his Regent. Then I need to put this town on lockdown. I have to call in all phoenix to guard our boarders,” Justic
