Chapter 1: Tragedy
Kokoro Inugami was fresh out of university, he did not have much going on in his life as he spent all his days studying, learning and working. A child with no family, no friends he thought as soon as he has a stable job his worries would end then and there.
Kokoro was smart but not very athletic so his studies were his pride and joy, as all the other learners around him from middle school to the end of university despised and avoided him due to his excessive effort in school. Kokoro was happy to have his life start, but that excitement was destroyed promptly as he was diagnosed with advanced heart disease, and without a means to pay it he lived the next month in pain, in sorrow and despair. his life was about to get a kick start but with his inability to enjoy it fully it ended. As he floats in the void, he regains conscience and asserts that he is no more. This train of thought was disturbed, as he heard mumbles. Not just regular mumbling but 3 voices talking to each other, this was unusual, Kokoro mutters to himself. as what seems like months go by and Kokoro hearing improved he learnt that these people were speaking a different language, nothing that existed on earth. As a very good student from his past he decides to pass the time by learning this said language, and as more time had passed he succeeded in learning enough of the language to understand basic speech, him still being in the void he begins to experiment a bit, trying to feel himself, his surroundings and his presence. more time past and he felt a very faint flow of energy floating around him, and as he got more and more information about this void..."bu bump."
"A pulse?" he thinks to himself. Why would he be hearing something like this, he focused himself and the more concentrated he was the more heart beats he could hear, but he only heard a maximum of three heart beats at a time. "Why can this be?" he thinks to himself, "if i am dead why is it that i can hear voices and heartbeats?" not to long after this thought a deep voice says to him, "for someone so misunderstood you have been left alone and died such a sad death to whom no one would mourn you, i say give him another chance and show him his efforts."
