Rise of the 10th Floor Boss

"Fireball!" said Zord, who immediately attacked with fireball magic from a distance.

"Well done, Zord," said Raven.

"They are looking for death, yes," thought Satria, who immediately ran forward.

'Bhoomr'

The magic exploded right at the head of the giant skeleton. Suddenly the skeleton shot straight towards Zord. Satria looks annoyed that the adventurer who came with him can only attack carelessly. Zord and Raven looked surprised because the skeleton was much faster than the others in front of them.

The skeleton smacked the sword against the skeleton of his hand. Still, Satria immediately jumped up and blocked the s***h of the skeleton with the blade of his spear. The clanging of weapons sounded so loud and echoed that the Raven squad looked surprised because they did not expect that Satria would be able to withstand the s***h of a monster much bigger than him.

"If you guys want to leave, hurry up and leave now!" said Satria while jumping in another direction to distract the giant skeleton.

"Come on, quickly!" said Raven as she ran past the skeleton monsters and into the 10th-floor dungeon with her friends.

"I want to beat you, but I have to restrain my strength a little at this time," said Satria softly as he stomped his foot against the cave wall. His body was immediately shot after Squad Raven. But the skeleton monster didn't stay still and immediately slashed its sword at Satria.

There was the sound of clashing weapons. Satria blocked the skeleton monster's sword attack with her spear as it floated in the air. An instantaneous noise was created when the skeleton monster's sword rubbed against the weapon held by Satria, and sparks were instantly seen to be made from the friction.

Satria's body continued to dart as if the impact of the skeleton monster was unable to shake its movement. Rightly Satria stood in the dungeon's 10th-floor room. The place was like a huge and towering cave. Small rocks and pebbles seemed to be scattered on the floor.

When Satria stepped into the room, suddenly, the door of the cave they entered was immediately closed. When Satria looked at the road leading to the 11th floor, the cave door was also directly approached by a large stone without the slightest gap. The sword-wielding Raven immediately opened her eyes wide, her weapon falling to the ground.

"Impossible," said Raven.

"Did we miscalculate?" said Zord, who had fallen to the ground without realizing his wand. Likewise, the arrows held by Lea and Vi fell to the ground.

"This is a lie, right?" said Vi with a sad tone. Lea and Sil could only be stunned with pale faces. The ground they were standing on started to shake violently.

"Is this a sign the floor boss will respawn this time?" guessed Satria.

"Yes. When the floor boss has respawned, then when an adventurer enters, the door where the floor boss is located will be immediately closed. Adventurers who are still outside the room will not be able to enter. The door will only open when the battle inside is over," Sil answered.

"I see, so the system is still the same as the one in the game. All adventurers must enter the floor boss's room as quickly as possible if they want to join the raid against the floor boss. Usually, there is only a gap of five seconds from when the first adventurer enters the room until the door closes. However, with a door this big, I'm sure a thousand adventurers can still enter that gap," Satria thought as he stared at the ground, shaking harder and harder.

"If I'm not mistaken, the boss of the 10th floor in Dungeon Luxurie is the Skeleton King, Skullix," thought Satria.

From deep in the ground, right in the distance in front of them, suddenly bones appeared slowly. The bones got higher and higher until finally, all the forms of the bones were visible in front of Satria and the Raven Squad. Of course, that made Raven and her friends shiver with wide-eyed fear.

In front of them now stood a giant skeleton shaped like a knight. He is wearing full armor covering his shiny body, carrying two swords on his back, and wearing shoes and headgear of the same color as his body armor. The Skullix monster has level 40, which is, intended to be faced by full-party squads who enter the dungeon.

"This is impossible," said Raven.

"We're going to die," said Zord.

"Father, Mother," said Lea, whose body immediately went limp. Vi and Sil also immediately collapsed and sat on the ground, just like Lea. Unexpectedly Raven and Zord also immediately sat down sluggishly.

"A squad full of parties alone can't necessarily beat him, let alone us," said Vi softly, tears starting to appear in his eyes.

It was only natural since Skullix was the boss of the 10th-floor monster. To deal with it alone required many adventurers at the same time. Now that there were only five of them with low levels, they couldn't have any hope of winning against a level 40 monster. Only Satria looked calm and stared intently at Skullix.

"Lancer," said Satria changing his job class.

"Squads? Full party? Impossible? Dead? What are you guys saying? Did you guys enter the dungeon without thinking anything? Did you guys enter the dungeon without thinking about death? Do you want to defeat monsters without getting hurt? No kidding! Death will follow you as you take your first steps in the dungeon!" Satria said as he walked past Raven's squad.

Satria immediately wielded his spear in his right hand while walking between Raven, Zord, Lea, Sil, and Vi. His gaze fixed sharply on Skullix, his footsteps moving without the slightest hesitation or fear.

He still remembered the first time he walked on the 10th floor and faced Skullix, he was alone without any friends or other players. He still remembered that time he managed to win even though he had a little more HP left. Still, so far, he had never lost against any dungeon floor boss, even though he still did it seriously and calculatingly in the game. Now the memory flashed back in his mind as if he was nostalgic.

"If you're afraid to die in a dungeon, you'd better never entered! You better never start if you don't want to get hurt in the dungeon! Suppose you can't stand before a monster like this. In that case, you better never become adventurers!" shouted Satria until his voice echoed throughout the cave room.

"Satria," said Raven with a surprised face. Now Satria is standing with his back to all of them without shaking a bit, even though he knows if he loses, then this time maybe his own life is at stake.

"You," Zord muttered as he looked at Satria, who was standing holding a spear on his right shoulder.

"I'll show you how strong the soul of a true adventurer is!" said Satria.

"This is my chance, and I will not let it pass. In this world, I won't let them insult me again! In this world, I will avenge my suffering for these three years! On behalf of my late father and mother, I swear! They will get their payback with my own hands!" Satria shouted while remembering the faces of the people who had insulted him so far.

"Lightning lance!" shouted Satria while holding his spear tightly on his shoulder. Suddenly, flashes of lightning immediately enveloped the spear held by Satria.

The dust and gravel around where Satria stood flew immediately. Skullix, who felt the threat, was seen directly drawing both swords from his back. Now the lightning that covered the spear in Satria's hand was seen more and more. The cave room that was a bit dark is now illuminated by the blue light from the lightning that covered the spear.

"Destroy it!" shouted Satria as he threw his spear, which was already covered in lightning.

'Wwrrr'

The roar of thunder immediately sounded along with the spear from Satria's hand. The roar of the boisterous thundering wind also seemed to follow the shot of the spear that glowed blue. Raven, Zord, Sil, Vi, and Lea, who was still sitting, stared at each other without being able to speak, as if they were stunned by the blue lightning that enveloped the spear.
