Jessica POV As we drove to the hospital, I had a hundred different scenarios running through my head, and each one was worse than the last. Jake kept trying to calm me down, telling me that it was ok, but I couldn’t listen. Nothing was going to be ok until I saw Jace. Once we were in the parking lot, I barely waited for Jake to put the truck in park. I had my door open and I was running for the door. Thanks to his werewolf speed, Jake caught me before I even reached the awning, he grabbed me by the waist and lifted me up. “Let go Jake, I need to be in there.” I thrashed and hit him with fists.
