The night before
She looked so beautiful, I know she was just putting clothes away but she just looked so irresistible. I couldn’t help myself, so I walked up and wrapped my arms around her. She had her hair draped over one of her shoulders revealing her neck. I buried my face in her neck and breathed deep. Passion fruit and lavender, it was the best smell in the world and I couldn’t get enough.
“I really missed you while you were gone, and it was so hard to focus on that meeting. I couldn't help but worry about you. I swear, I burned a hole in the living room from pacing. It wasn’t until Bryce linked me that you were on your way home and safe, that I was able to relax.” She didn’t say anything, and I reveled in the tingles I felt as she rubbed my arms.
