I found Shrek on TV, and Isla was absorbed immediately. I would rather watch her reaction to everything than the movie itself. I loved seeing her light up like this, and I knew it was a feeling that I would never get over. I got her a second helping of lasagna, and by the end of the movie, her eyes were drooping.
Our head doctor, Doctor Jim Lockhart, returned near the end of the movie and gave her a bit more medication after checking her over. He said he would start to reduce the doses before removing it from her system entirely. He expected her to be more alert and less drowsy tomorrow.
