"Is everything okay?" Paul asked me as he climbed into the car after closing my door.
Should I tell him the truth? I do not have feelings for him and I am sure I never will, until my bond with Ben is gone.
"It is complicated."
"You can still talk to me about it."
"I appreciate it, but I would like to keep it to myself for now."
"Alright. We are here," he announced, and I looked out of the window.
"The Mummy?" I laughed and he climbed out of the car to open my door.
"My favourite wrapped burger in town," he smirked as he closed the door behind me.
"You brought me to a burger restaurant?"
"If you don't like this, we can go someplace else."
"No, are you kidding? I love this. Thank you for keeping it simple," I smiled genuinely. He took my hand, and then led me inside
