Bennet and I stared out onto the dance floor, where Alan was making his way through the crowd to approach us. He had the same bored look on his face as Bennett and me.

In fact, Bennet was the only one of the three of us who was looking forward to his destined mate showing up that night, after all, Alan and I were happy with our single life.

On the other hand, each of the she-wolves who had attended the party was longing to be one of the next pack luna, but Bennet wasn't feeling comfortable with any of them.

"Do you think we'll find our mate tonight?" he asked, taking a swig of alcohol.

"f**k brother, I hope not" I said mockingly.

"You're right, I'm not ready to settle down with some b***h" said Alan laughing.

"It's obvious that none of you are ready to settle down with anyone" said Bennet mockingly "I feel so sorry for the mate you get, she'll have to suffer a lot" said he.

"Maybe if she's a nice woman with soft white breasts, I'll settle down" I said as I kept replaying in my mind the kiss I had given Vanessa.

Fuck, that girl made my whole world come crashing down. Thinking about it, I lost myself for a few seconds, until I noticed my brothers looking at me with a confused expression.

I quickly shook my head and sighed, drinking more alcohol. everyone had asked me to stay away from her, but I couldn't do it, that girl attracted me in every possible way.

Her light eyes, and her glowing skin made me want to squeeze her to my chest. She was a f*****g temptation I couldn't pass up. As I was wandering into that kiss, the music suddenly stopped and everyone in the room went completely silent as she turned towards the centre of the room.

I quickly looked around and saw my father standing there with a proud expression on his face.

"Thank you all for coming on such an important night today my three alpha heirs will finally meet their destined mate..."

My father didn't even finish his words when suddenly the she-wolves started to squeal with excitement as they looked at us blinking rapidly. At the sight of them I shook my head in frustration.

All those women were just bitches looking for power and attention. I wished the goddess wouldn't give me any of them as a mate.

"Well, in a few minutes the moon will be in full bloom and my sons will give way to their wolf form to sniff out their mate" he said gesturing for my brothers and I to stand in the middle of the room.

The three of us looked into each other's eyes and smiled as we walked to the centre. The girls screamed as a huge curtain covered us. As soon as the moon reached its point a f*****g aching pain shot up my spine. It felt like every bone in my body was breaking.

A painful grunt left my lips along with my brothers as the transformation was complete.

From Vanessa's point of view

As soon as james came out of my room he slammed the door shut, making me freeze in my tracks. He had kissed me?

I couldn't even believe it. I raised my hand and caressed my lip with my fingers as I felt my cheeks turn red.

I could still feel the tingle of James's lips on mine. for a moment I felt annoyed, but at the same time I was excited. f**k, that was my first kiss!

I couldn't believe that one of the triplets had been my first kiss. Thinking about it, a surge of anger flooded my body, making me clench my fists, how the hell dare he snatch away the chance to enjoy my first kiss?

"Don't worry, you won't mind this later" I heard that strange voice in my head again.

I shook my head and closed my eyes, trying to come back to reality. Was I going crazy?

"Stop trying to shut me out, I'm you and you're me!" the voice insinuated in a high-pitched tone.

"Shut up!" I shouted, pressing my ears with a pillow. the voice was mixed with the loud sound of the triplets' party music, so my patience had run out.

However, at that moment I got out of bed and stood on my little balcony, and in a second my eyes fell on Bennet and Alan, who were surrounded by a couple of she-wolves in short dresses and dreamy bodies.

As soon as I saw them, my fists clenched and an annoyed growl left my lips. For a moment I thought I was freaking out and opened my eyes in surprise. Was I jealous of the triplets? Why?

"It's natural to be jealous of what belongs to us" I heard the voice inside my head with a mocking tone.

"What? Those idiots don't belong to me!" I added in annoyance.

From that moment on i didn't hear the voice again, but before i could turn towards the bed, the moonlight came shining down on the small balcony and hit my body. In a second everything in front of me became cloudy, my head was spinning and my breathing was accelerating.

Unable to breathe properly, I rushed out of my room and felt my world fade away. I didn't know what the hell was wrong with me, but I needed fresh air, so without hesitation I ran to the entrance of the pack and scanned the place to avoid anyone seeing me.

Fuck, I headed towards the forest without understanding why, I just ran until I finally felt the moonlight over my head. Suddenly a sharp pain started to run down my spine.

"s**t!" I screamed, falling to the ground.

The roar of my bones breaking made my skin burn, did this... Was this my transformation?

Pain radiated from every muscle in my body as my skin tore and white fur covered my entire body. It was my first transformation!

However, just when I thought I could take the pain, I open my eyes as a stabbing pain shoots from my feet to my head. Endless screams of pain burst from my lips.

All my senses seemed to sharpen, but I had lost control of my body, I seemed to be inside someone else,

"Hello Vanessa" said the voice in a lighter tone.

"Are you... are you my wolf?" I asked surprised.

"Yes, I am, my name is Lilith" she said.

"But... I... I thought I had run out of wolves" I said surprised.

"No, wolves of pure lineage take a long time to arrive" said Lilith.

"I don't understand, purebred wolf?" I hinted.

"Yes, we are special wolves, you are an alpha and beta wolf. But, for now you are only an omega wolf" she said.

"That's impossible! I'm not..." before I could finish my words, there was a loud howl in the distance.

Quickly my heart lurched in panic, "We have to go, the wolves have started to run" I said.

Without waiting long, lilith gives me back control and my human form reappears. The pain of the transformation was horrible, but I knew I would slowly get used to it.

On the other hand, I realized that I was half naked on the forest floor. My dress had ripped and only my tiny thong and lace top covered me.

Fuck, I tried to grab some pieces of dress to cover myself as I made my way back to the mansion. however, as soon as I took a couple of steps, my legs stopped and my vision became blurry.

I shook my head and tried to walk quickly to the back door of the mansion, unfortunately there were some wolves on the stairs to my room, so I quickly ran to the other side of the mansion right by Camila's room.

I climbed up the back door and made it into the mansion, but as I was about to cross the corner, my legs gave out and I fell to my knees on the floor right in front of Bennet's room.

"s**t!" I screamed to myself as I tried to crawl towards Camila's room, but my body was so sore and weak.

For a moment I thought about calling for Camila, but suddenly a stab of pain shot through my chest making me groan before everything went dark and I fell completely to the floor.
