[Cathrine’s POV]
When we reached the pack house, I saw how everyone gathered outside.
When I walked out the car, I saw Clarissa running towards me, as she gave me a big hug.
I couldn’t stop myself from crying in happiness, but I still only were wearing a blanket, and therefore I felt a bit embarrassed of all the stares.
Chase quickly felt my unease as he sheltered me.
“Please go inside, my mate will meet you when she is ready!” He announced in a firm tone. Everyone were quickly walking along.
Only Clarissa still stood beside me and Chase. Chase sent her an annoyed glare.
“You know it was also meant for you, right?” He asked as he lifted an eyebrow. She just sent him a nonchalant look as she shrugged her shoulders.
