[Chase’s POV]
“We should go check on Jack, are you coming Chase?“ Drake called out to me, making me realize I was back in control.
I glanced towards Cathrine who was standing in my mother’s embrace, I could feel she was crying, making my heart ache.
My father had a disappointed look as he stood there with crossed arms, shaking his head, while Charlie was throwing daggers at me, like he was ready to rip me apart at that moment.
I followed in Drake’s footsteps, my wolf was nowhere to be found, he had probably crawled in to the deepest corner of my mind.
“And you said I was a coward.” I grumbled to myself, as I was staring at the ground. We walked in silence for some time, before Drake said anything.
