Mandy's POV
I woke up to a loud pounding sound followed by screams, causing a huge headache. Instantly I lifted my hands up and put them over my ears to muffle the annoying sounds. Groaning, I opened my eyes but the bright light made me shut them immediately. The pounding didn't stop. Blinking a few times my eyes finally adjusted to the light and I saw a window. The sun was mercilessly shiningly, filling the whole room with its bright warmth. "Can you please stop!" I shouted into the air for my headache to disappear.
Finally, the pounding and screams stopped, I sighed in relief just to hear another sound, softer, unsure, and scared.
