After Anton carried me up to the bedroom that Andrea and James had set up for me, he gently laid me down on the bed, then said, "No getting up unless you have somebody here to help you." I gazed up into his dark blue eyes and flashed him a smile. He smiled at me in return before he walked over to the door and shut it.
I closed me eyes and enjoyed the softness of the bed I was laying on. It was way better than the dirty bed I had been forced to sleep on at the Red Moon Pack. After a few minutes, I felt the bed dip as Anton laid down beside me. I opened my eyes and noticed that he had turned on the lamp by the bed and the overhead light was now off.
