Royal Alpha Roar. When I first spotted her, my heart nearly stopped. She was a wreck—covered in mud from head to toe, crumpled on the ground like life itself has chewed her up and spat her out. Perilous heard her first and we charged in her direction without hesitation. Now, I have taken us back to the Moon grave castle. I’m off the horse before it even settles. When I reach her, she looks up at me, shattered and clinging to the edges of herself. I extend my hand and she takes it—trusting me enough to lean her body against mine.
