The Present;

Mui Li stared at Zhangsun Shan, hatred apparent in his eyes, Qui Si was a few meters away from them.

"I have always hated you from the first day I saw you and every time, I prayed for a moment to kill you and now, I will finally get it," Mui Li says as he holds his sword firmly, the fire on it grew fiercer and the flame increased tremendously.

"Didn't know it was alright to pray for something you are obviously never going to get, there's a difference between blind hope and utmost faith but I don't even need to tell you, you are too dumb to understand" Zhangsun Shan grins as he unsheathes his sword, he had thrown the roasted rabbit away.

Mui Li dashes at Zhangsun Shan but Zhangsun Shan expecting that evades to his left.

"Martial arts style: dragon's breath" Zhangsun Shan shouts aloud as he extends his sword towards Mui Li's direction.

Immediately, a fan of flames appeared encircling the area.

Mui Like quickly mutters a few words, his entire body becomes embedded in white light as he jumps backward.

Zhangsun Shan expecting him to do that dashes forward, his blade now had lightning on it.

"Martial arts style: asteroid summoning" Mui Li shouts aloud, almost immediately, giant big brown heavy rocks begin to fall from the sky towards Zhangsun Shan's direction but he evades them easily, anyone which came in his way met the wrath of his blade which instantly turned them to nothingness.

Now, directly in front of Mui Li, he launches forward as if to strike but the blue-haired warrior evades to his left.

Mu Li grinned to himself, he thought he had the advantage but a back kick from Zhangsun Shan to his face told him to think again, he staggers backward, Zhangsun Shan quickly changes his direction.

"Martial arts style: Wind blower" Zhangsun Shan grins as he dashes at him, his fire on his sword dies out almost immediately.

Zhangsun Shan threw his Katana in the hair.

"Martial arts style: user and weapon dance" Zhangsun Shan grins as he dashes at Mui Li.

"Martial arts style: the great..." Mui Like was about to say but he feels an object hitting him from behind propelling him towards Zhangsun Shan, he looks behind, it was Zhangsun Shan's katana, somehow it was levitating in the air and was capable of moving on his own.

"Martial arts style: fire fist," Zhangsun Shan says aloud as his left fist becomes fiery, Mui Li was approaching him, Zhangsun Shan hits him as hard as he could knocking him upwards in the air.

The Katana quickly flies up in the air and swings past Mui Li's right shoulder ripping his arm off his body.

"AHHRRRGGGHHHHHH" Mui Li screams aloud.

"See that" Zhangsun Shan smiles merrily

"Now, we are both one-handed."

"You bastard" Mui Li screams, he was right-handed so at the moment his weapon wasn't with him.

"You know, it's not really nice to call orphans bastards, it's capable of making them get all insecure" Zhangsun Shan smirks.

"AHHHH" Mui Li shouts at the top of his voice, his entire body becomes cloaked in fire

"This is my strongest, it will decimate this forest and even the surrounding cities and villages to nothingness, The emperor can absorb any form of spiritual energy attack so he would be fine, he had brought me back to a conscious state and if this is my final moment, I will use it to obliterate you."

Zhangsun Shan yawns loudly as he covering his mouth as he does

"Were you saying something, I lost you at the part when you were at blah blah blah."

"AHHRRRGGGHHHHHH" Mui Li screams aloud as he expels the fire encircling him, it began to spread rapidly in a circular motion.

"So that's your strongest huh, allow me to demonstrate my weakest" Zhangsun Shan grins as he strolls confidently towards him, though the heat of the fire was burning everything around to ashes but yet Zhangsun Shan was untouched, not a single hair on his body burnt or his clothing.

"Martial arts style: baby wind" Zhangsun grins as he blows softly into Mui Li's direction, immediately the fire that was razing the forest disappears and becomes nothing.

"And that was a wrap," Zhangsun Shan says with a sly smile as he looks at Mui Li, Mui Li laid down on the floor, his body was burnt beyond recognition, apparently, he also took damage from the Krigo based attack he just cast.

"Honey, you were splendid," Qui Si says aloud, her face full of admiration

"You didn't let the fire scathe other cities and villages, I am so proud of you."

"The feeling is mutual, my love" Zhangsun Shan says as he sheathes his sword

"We need to get to Taiyi sect, Rui Hongcha might be able to explain to me how he got his weapon, if I could understand how, getting a weapon to surpass the Xi Hing's one will be a piece of cake, then I will come back and overthrow him thereby becoming the ruler."

"You sure never give up" his wife smiles.

"Winners never quit and quitters never win," Zhangsun Shan says to her with a mild smile

"Now, let's get back to the Taiyi sect," he says as he moves over to her, using his only arm to spread across her waist, he says

"Martial arts style: simple leap," he says as he jumps off the ground with his wife as he held her lightly.

They jumped a distance of over 56,000 square kilometers as they land back in the village they had first met; Kraido village.

The landing was a soft one, Zhangsun Shan and Qui Si looked around, things had really changed from the last time they were here, there were more cottages and huts, most of the cottages had the plus sign on it.

Zhangsun Shan and Qui Si walked along the road of the village, there were now many more tourist attractions and facilities which wasn't there twelve years ago.

There were shops where people played some board games, some people played 'knock off the bottles' where they just placed some wooden constructed bottles and threw a rock to knock it off.

Zhangsun Shan and Qui Si were both amazed at how it all looked, this was the furthest from what he was expecting.

"I see you are back" came a deep gruff almost seemingly familiar voice, Zhangsun Shan and Qui Si turn to look at the owner of the voice, and standing directly before them was the tallest man in the entire village, with long golden hair and he held his massive red weapon with so much pride and vigor; it was Rui Hongcha.

He had instantly recognized Zhangsun Shan from the rumors he had heard about him, the one-handed warrior who wore white samurai clothes with blue designs at the hem.

Rui Hongcha hadn't changed from day one, he looked exactly the same.

Zhangsun Shan looked at him suspiciously, like Xi Hing, Rui Hongcha hadn't appeared to have aged even a single day from when he had seen both of them.

These people knew an ancient power that they weren't telling anyone else, they were trying their best to keep it secret as much as possible

"Martial arts style: dragons breath" Zhangsun Shan heard someone say inside a shop, a boy and his mother were directly in front of his shop.

The man blew out flames from his mouth, the boy upon seeing that jumps for joy excitedly as he claps his hands.

"I see what happened here..." Zhangsun Shan says as he looks around, he could see many people not even soldiers use Kirgo attacks for their various means and purposes mostly for entertainment

"...when I left here, the soldiers were so annoyed that they were bested by a little kid that they each learned Krigo and turns out that not only the soldiers but everyone as well."

Just then, a beast leaps from the forest plains which surrounded Kraido Village, it snarls aloud as it lands on the ground.

Qui Si quickly took out her katana from where it was sheathed.

The beast runs towards a little kid who was eating roasted meat on a stick, he held his mom who was walking him, just as the beast was about to pounce on him.

The boy turned towards the direction of the beast, he drops his meat stick as he raises his arm.

"Martial arts style: the great wind," the boy says aloud as an enormous amount of wind resurfaced and blew the beast back to the forest it came from.

"Momma" the boy begins to wail aloud

"My suya stick fell off, I want another" he continues crying even harder.

"It's okay" his mom smiles at him as she escorts him to another suya shop where there was a meat display on the stands.

Zhangsun Shan looked at what happened, the kid looked about ten or below, if only he had learned Krigo at that time, he would have been able to protect his Mom and all of this wouldn't have happened.

"Well, it became a necessity after you left," Rui Hongcha says with a mild smile

"I traveled over to some villages, got some of the empire's Krigo users which were stationed there and got them to teach my folks here the art but as you have seen and might have also noticed in the emperor, we both can't use Krigo."

"And yet, you two use weapons that far surpass the limits of Krigo, I would like to know your secret" Zhangsun Shan smiles.

Rui Hongcha looks at him too, he too has a silly smirk on his face.

"Sorry to intrude," Qui Si says aloud as she looks around

"Where are my parents, I need to find them."

"You must be the daughter of the Si's" Rui Hongcha begins with a sober look

"I am sorry to tell you but ever since you were taken away, your parents were devastated that their one precious only daughter was gone, since they knew about how tyrannical the king is and couldn't get letters from you or write to you, they concluded you were dead and they resigned their fate, I am sorry" Rui Hongcha ends still with a sober expression.

Qui Si was unhappy at what she heard but there was nothing she could do but at least she now had a new family; Zhangsun Shan and he would always protect her no matter what.

"I knew you would eventually ask for that, I am even surprised you could use it the time you did, it's equipment strictly for only players," Rui Hongcha tells him.

"Players, what do you mean, is that also the reason why you two never age, does being a player give some sort of stop aging ability," Zhangsun Shan asks

"So many questions" Rui Hongcha smiles at him.

"I demand an answer to all of them," Zhangsun Shan says fiercely.

"Well, if you want me to answer them all, I demand that you join the Taiyi sect, you and..." Rui Hongcha says looking over at Qui Si with an amazed expression.

"That's my wife, I don't think..."

"No darling" Qui Si says in his direction

"I have wanted to join the Taiyi sect since I was a little girl, I shall accompany you."

"Then it's settled, you two are now official disciples of the Taiyi sect" Rui Hongcha smiles as he focuses his gaze on Zhangsun Shan

"For your first assignment, I need you to train our newest member, she was an actress who took part in many plays and shows across the entire kingdom, if you are a fan of opera, you should have heard of her."

"I don't have time to obsess over nonsense," Zhangsun Shan tells him

"Why do you even want me to train her," Zhangsun Shan says looking around at everyone who was present, it looked like everyone already knew the art of Krigo

"Everyone here is more than formidable enough to fight their own, meaning even that ten-year-old kid who destroyed a Liarm beast earlier is more than capable of teaching her.

"She was actually brought here along with her acting troupe" Rui Hongcha began

"I promised the other members there I will protect and give her the best training there is but I can't use Krigo attacks and this female is quite intelligent and resourceful, she learned every known Krigo technique in a week even including the ones you invented."

"Really" Zhangsun Shan was amazed as it had taken him months to perfect some of his invented techniques

"Where is she then?"

"Over here" he held a feminine voice say behind him, Zhangsun Shan had sweat dripping from his forehead as he turns behind him, right there was a beautiful woman about 5'7 dressed in a linen semi-transparent dress, she had long white hair and deep sea blue eyes, she was the definition of beauty.

How did she get behind him? she must have used a stealth skill but how did she horn it to that extent, it was what he invented, just who was this woman.

Even Qui Si who was directly beside her was amazed, she hadn't noticed the person who came beside her until she spoke.

"You must be the one-handed devil," the female says carrying herself with such grace and confidence, she must have learned that as she performed severally across the big cities and even the palace

"I am Sui Wenyan, pleased to make your acquaintance."
