Bittersweet Revenge

It was the middle of spring and the weather was warm a little bit of a breeze. The Palace of Luave "Princess Ariana!" Princess Ariana's Nanny had found her on the floor with a book in her hand while her nose was bleeding up to her neck. Princess Ariana Dé Machellote Luave , the only child of the Emperor and Empress and heir to the throne, she was only ten years old but this incident happened many times . Due to the screaming of her Nanny who screamed at the top of her lungs, alarmed everyone including the Imperial doctor Lidel who was in the room next to Princess Ariana's while treating her brother Adrian .Her brother Adrian is a scholar in the Santella School For Gifted Kids. That school wasn't really for voted kids it was more like all the bible's children went there. "Goodness me , Nanny you scream louder than all my sons, grandchildren and great-grandchildren combined! If the Emperor had heard you you would've been beheaded already" Lidel complained. " You screamed like you saw a kitten die so... WHAT'S THE MATTER!" He screamed. Nanny gave him an outraged look and widened the door.He came closer to get a better view and jumped. "WHAT THE- %#$&#¥%#, PRINCESS•ARIANA•DÉ•MACHELLOTE•LUAVE OH NO, OH NO I'M AN ATHIEST BUT I'M PRAYING TO GOD THAT SHE'S ALIVE ALSO I SEE BLOOD I'M GONNA RUN!" Lidel screamed "Goodness me, Lidel you scream louder than all my sons, grandchildren and great-grandchildren combined! If the Emperor had heard you you would've been beheaded already"Nanny mimicked Lidel while holding his hand tightly to stop him from running. She then twisted his hand and pushed him in Ariana's room aggressively "Ow" Lidel said "If you're saying 'Ow' imagine how Princess Ariana must be feeling, lying on the floor with a nose bleed, And what do you mean that you're gonna run after seeing blood YOU'RE A FRICKIN' DOCTOR FOR GOODNESS SAKE! Now hurry up and treat her" Lidel picked up his medical kit and kneeled down to Princess Ariana , He flicked her scarlet red hair off her face exposing her dangerously pale skin and stone grey eyes. "So you think we should inform Master" Lidel asked while wiping the blood off her face " it's his daughter , of course we inform him this has happened way to many times" Nanny replied cautiously. Lidel missed and continued to treat Ariana.... In the Emperor 's Study There was a knock on the door "Come in" the Emperor said with his deep voice. It was Lidel and Nanny. The emperor stopped writing. "Oh, what brings you two here? Make it quick because I have a lot of paperwork to complete" the Emperor said while handing his wife, the Empress a paper . Lidel looked at the Emperor worriedly and started speaking "Well, Today an incident happened that happened many other times and it's starting to be a habit, you see the princess has been studying a bit too much and she's been bleeding not only from her nose but her head as well and she hasn't been bleeding a normal amount it's like the amount of blood a soldier loses after his neck has been cut by the rival army and it takes her a long time to recover" "Well, it could be poison-" The Emperor had said before his wife cut in "What do you mean she takes a long time to recover" The Empress shouted suddenly "I'm glad you care well first of all it isn't poison because the Luave's are 100% resistant to poison an-" Lidel answered before being interrupted "Oh I don't care even if she's dead all I dare about is that she could've spent the time that she spends on the floor STUDYING! ,IF SHE DOESN'T MARK HISTORY SHE ISN'T DAUGHTER " the Empress bursted, Nanny couldn't accept what the Empress had just said so she just exploded with anger: "But Ma'am, she is your daughter and she is only 10 years old!-" Lidel covered her mouth hurriedly "Is there something you want to add Nanny?" The Empress said coldly making Nanny realise what she had just done. The Empress was the Luave Empire's sweetheart and joy but no one outside the palace knew her true form , but she was very beautiful and charming perhaps Princess Ariana had gotten her looks from her Princess Ariana's room, Princess Ariana was sitting anxiously on her bed with her forehead wrapped up in bandages. Lidel walked into the room, "Princess Ariana! , What is making you so anxious?" Lidel scolded "You look like you're about to get caught killing someone, it's bad enough for your health that you're in this state are you trying to get yourself more sick!" Lidel added " it's nothing like that, it's just that you and Nanny must have gotten a big punishment and it's all my fault! " Ariana explained "Speaking of that my Scholar Exam is coming up again and I'm always first place so this time can't be any different so I need to study, or else mummy and daddy will punish you and Nanny even more, just get me my books, Nanny knows where they are pweaase" Ariana begged, her head tilted downwards in sorrow. Lidel's eyes teared up but he quickly turned his head around "Princess Ariana"Lidel called " Yep" Ariana answered while lifting her head "Don't you ever speak like that again, me and Nanny won't get punished and even if we do, so what, you're health always comes first!" Lidel scolded her again. " Okay...but really can I stop studying now? What if I become second place again or even worse, third place! "Ariana said worried " calm down, did you not hear what I just said and what's wrong with second place? When I was your age I always placed last but my mom used to tell me 'Lidel it doesn't matter if you place last just turn the paper around and you'll be first it's like turning over an hourglass to change time try better next time' " "Mummy said that if you don't get first place every time then you will be a loser for the rest of your life" Ariana answered "It doesn't matter, now so you have anything you want to do?" Lidel said Princess Ariana smirked and nodded, she then gestured Lidel to kneel down to her height and whispered something into his ear, She then pulled his long speed and dragged him outside.
