CHAPTER EIGHT TWO WEEKS LATER Emily’s due date -- December 13th -- came and went with no sign of Baby Charlotte. At 40 weeks pregnant, she was bigger than ever, but not uncomfortable in the way she’d been expecting. She didn’t feel any sense of urgency to get the pregnancy over and done with.
