I had brought Marian to where her cousin was buried, Lang’ata Cemetery, so that I could confess the revenge I was intending to carry out on her that would surely place her back in prison and also I was going to confess my love for her cousin. However, I couldn’t do that because she ran away long before I opened my mouth to let out my secrets.
I wanted to follow after she ran off her but my phone started ringing immediately after she left. Seeing my dad’s name flushing on the screen of the phone almost made me pee for I was doing the wrong thing by dropping the revenge I had planned for her.
