Chapter 3: I Learned from You

Kyle's Pov.

"I'll wait for you. Don't make me wait to long ok?" i whispered to her ear and smiled softly in front of her. Then i left the stage and sat in the judges' chair.

" Mr. Kyle, you are very helpful to our contestants"

"Thank you for your compliment Mrs. Juarez but I only want to help Miss Yumi on stage. I'm just curious how beautiful her voice is"

Ngumiti nalang ako habang kumakanta ang ika-apat na kontestant.

In this world there is north, south, east and west. It symbolizes the four countries held by the four families. The owner in Nuru Country or North is the Adler family. They are the leading and richest nation and richest family among the four races.

The holder of the Soval Country or South is the Ackley family. They are the second richest family and country.

The next is the country of Ehodran or East, where the missing princess of that country is still being searched for. They are the third of the four richest families in the country. The last one is the Weden Country or West.

In the four richest families there are heirs to the throne and I am one of them. I am the eldest son of the King in Nuru country, but I left and changed my identity for a while because of an incident five years ago.

I am Kyle Acel Harris Dae, a prince and heir to the throne in nuru country willingly left the palace to live on my own wealth without my Father's help. Because of this, I will be more powerful and strong by the time I return to the palace.

"The next contestant is Miss Zendaya Yumi H. Amana. Let's applaud him loudly."

Nang marinig ko ito agad akong tumingin sa stage at napangiti para sa babaeng yun.

She's beautiful, that's all I can say. The dress I gave her was perfect for her.

Napatingin siya sa akin habang sinasabi niya ang mga katagang yun. Kitang-kita ko sa mga mata niya ang lungkot at pangungulila sa kaniyang Ama.

Mula sa unang Stanza ng kanta ramdam ko ang kaba sa bawat salitang binibigkas niya.

Maraming mga manonood ang nagpalakpakan. Kaya naman palihim lang akong napapangiti para sa kaniya. Hindi na ako magtataka dahil bukod sa taglay niyang ganda, maganda rin ang boses niya.

To get to the place that we're going from here?

But I can really trust you, and give you the distance?

To make your decisions without any fear?

I'm grateful for all of the times?

For the last stanza many spectators stood while applauding. Even I, was fascinated by his voice. She surprised me today. Well done Miss Yumi.

I've been staring at her since the first and last stanza of her song. But she didn't even glance at me.

"Now it's time for our judges and viewers to vote. Who will win among their Five? Let's watch for that now. After everyone here has voted"

"Mr. Han, I heard you put Yumi's Father in jail. You put him in jail for no crime?"

Tumingin ako sa katabi kong si Mr. Han at nakita ko kung gaano siya kinabahan. napalaki din ang mga mata nito sa mga sinambit ko.

" If I ask you to release his Father, will you do it? or will I pay to let him go? Anyway, I don't care about him but I just want to know if you want me to pay or if you will give me her Father for free?"

" of course, i need payment mr. Dei. We are businessmen afterall, that's why I will release Yumi's Father if you give me money"

Nakangiting tugon nito sa akin at saka tumawa ng malakas. Nginitian ko lang siya at tinignan ng masama dahil sa sinabi niya.

" How is that, I have evidence that you set everything up and you sold me his daughter just for money. But I won't take it from you first. Just think about it"

Kitang-kita ko ang kaba dahil sa pinapakita niyang itsura at sa sunod-sunod na pawis sa mukha niya.

I threatened him while smiling but he just smiled at me in response to what I said.

"Everyone listen up because I'm going to mention who is the first and Champion in this contest"

"Are you ready to find out who the champion is? Ok, I'm going to say this! Our champion for this year and who will receive 500,000 pesos in cash is none other than the final candidate......"

"Let's applaud the two great singers who won this contest"

"Congratulations Guys!!!"

"Congrats! Woooohhhhhhhh!!!!"

"I know, you are the winner miss Amana" i whisper in the air then i smile

Tumingin at ngumiti din ako sa kaniya ngunit kahit isang sulyap hindi niya ako nilingon. Kaya naman tumayo na lamang ako sa kinauupuan ko ngayon at umalis sa Gym na ito.

Nagsulat na lamang ako sa isang note at ibinigay sa isa kong tauhan para ipahatid kay Yumi ang nais kong sabihin.

"Bantayan niyong mabuti si Yumi. Siguraduhin niyong sasama siya sa inyo mamaya papunta sa Empire house. Dun niyo siya ideretso huwag na sa building"

"Yes, Master Kyle"

"Good"

Pagkatapos nito ay sumakay na ako sa sasakyan ko at pumunta sa opisina.
