Chapter 20 what the hell

Cheyenne’s P.O.V

  The vampire leaned into my neck and was about to bite me, but before he could sink his fangs into my neck there was the loud growling of three wolves, standing behind him. The vampire turned around to face the wolves, dropping me on the ground and when I looked up I was hoping that this was another nightmare. This couldn't be real, this was just like my dream, but the pain in my back felt all too real. My back was all scratched up from the tree and there was still bark sticking out of my back, blood was dripping from the open wounds and I felt so much pain that I thought I was going to pass out.

  “Cheyenne, you need to shift. Now. It's the only way I can heal your wounds.” Sheba said to me and I did as I was told, even though it hurt like hell, I shifted into my huge black wolf. I was still new at this, the bark started to come out of my back and the wounds started to slowly heal and then I shifted back into my human form. I saw the three wolves in front of me and I recognised one of them as Mercury, but I had no idea who the other two were. Why was he here? He wanted me gone, didn't he? Something was different though, instead of shifting back into his human form he started to shake and convulse just like he did in my dream. He was shifting into something else, but what was it? 

  “Holy shit.” I whispered to myself, but he still heard me and it looked like he smirked at me. He looked like he was half human and half werewolf. What the hell was he? He grabbed the vampire by the throat and bit into him, ripping his throat out. Mercury spit the flesh out of his mouth and ripped the vampires head clean off his shoulders. Mercury reached inside the bloody neck and ripped his body apart, pulling his spine out and shredding the rest of his body to pieces. The vampire's body parts splattered across the floor, his liver, guts, kidneys and lungs, everything hit the ground, except for his heart. Mercury was holding the vampire's heart in his hands and he crushed it in his hand, making all the valves and ventricles pop. Mercury looked at the vampire’s head that was now lying on the ground across from his body and he walked over to it slamming his paw down on it and smashing it to pieces, the eyeballs came out of its sockets as they popped open and leaked onto the ground. He turned to face me, walking closer to me and I stood up, backing away from him, until my back hit the tree and there was nowhere else for me to go.

  “What are you?” I asked as I watched him, but he just turned back to face the other wolves and nodded at them. They turned to leave, but as he looked back at me he looked up to the sky, loudly howling and letting the other creatures know to stay away or they would die. Mercury started to convulse and shake again, before he finally shifted back into his human form. He walked right up to me and grabbed me, holding me close to him.

  “Don't ever run from home again. You are never leaving me. I’m sorry Cheyenne, I overreacted and I was wrong. I should never have said the s**t I said to you, I didn't mean it and I don't know what came over me.” Mercury said, lifting up my chin so he could look me in the eyes. He leaned in and kissed me with a passion I had never felt from him before, a passion that made my legs feel like they were going to melt and if Mercury wasn’t holding me up right now I would probably have crumpled to the ground in a heap. I wrapped my arms around his neck and started to kiss him back with the same passion that he was showing me. Mercury lifted me up and I wrapped my legs around his waist, as he carried me away from the bloody and guts, laying me down on the grass, not once breaking the kiss. We were both naked after shifting back into our human forms and we had easy access to each other's bodies. I grabbed hold of his d**k and started stroking it up and down before positioning it at my entrance and letting Mercury do the rest. He shoved his d**k deep inside of me and started pumping in and out of me, I screamed out in pleasure as he bit down into my mark. I elongated my canines and bit down into his neck, marking him for a second time and making him moan out in pleasure. I retracted my canines and licked his new mark as he f****d me even harder and faster. Mercury was close and my body was shaking as I screamed out in pure ecstasy, riding out my orgasm and Mercury followed closely behind me, moaning and groaning as his seed spilled into me. When we were both done and had finished riding out our highs we laid side by side and he held me close to him.

  “You're not a normal werewolf are you?” I asked, seeing as he didn't answer me when I first asked him.

  “No, I'm a Lycan and a werewolf, I can shift into both.” Mercury replied, chuckling.

  “Let’s go back home.” Mercury said and I nodded. We both shifted back into our werewolves and ran all the way back to the pack house. The front door was left open for us and we ran all the way back to my room, then shifted back into our human forms. I grabbed a long t-shirt for me and put it on, then threw a pair of shorts to him and turned to face him.

  “Let me explain, Cheyenne. I have a bad temper, I go off the deep end at what I consider to be the slightest betrayal.” Mercury started to say, but I cut him off. 

  “I wasn't betraying you Merc, I was just telling you how I felt and you went off on one, saying those things and you think you're going to get away with it. That s**t won't happen, I won't put up with being called names, being bullied and pushed around. I'm no one's puppet and I'm definitely not yours. You cant draw me back every time you f**k up. I won't run again, but be prepared for a fight if you ever try that s**t again.” I said, standing up for myself and putting him in his place.

  “I know and I'm sorry. I don't even know why I said those things because I don't believe them. I thought you wanted to leave me, that you were going to reject me and I couldn't handle the thought of that, it pushed me over the deep end and I reacted badly. I'm so, so sorry, it will never happen again.” Mercury said, begging for forgiveness and I nodded, making him sigh in relief.

  “You know I like it when you're feisty, it's a huge turn on.” Mercury said, chuckling.

  “Didnt you get enough out there?” I asked, laughing at him.

  “No, I will never get enough of you, but you are right. We need to get our sleep, we have a meeting tomorrow with another Alpha, who's coming here from Snowy Mountain Pack. he's wanting to expand his territory, but I don't see how. My guess is he's wanting to combine ours with his or he's another Alpha that wants to try and take over. We will see tomorrow, his name is Alpha Griffin and from what I hear, he's one tough cookie. His Luna is called Penny and she's the same as him. You will be at my side tomorrow, so lets get some sleep.” Mercury said and I felt myself getting pissed off again. 

  “Is that the only reason that you wanted me back, so i could attend a meeting with you?” I asked and he quickly shook his head.

  “No, of course not. I didn't mean it to sound that way, I wanted you back because I need you, I want you and I am lost without you. Cheyenne, you mean the world to me and I don't want my life to be without you in it.” Mercury said and I could tell that he was telling me the truth. I nodded my head and got into bed, patting the space next to me for Mercury to get in as well. Mercury ran over to the bed and got under the covers, pulling me close to him and kissing my forehead. I didn't know if I could completely forgive him for everything that he said just yet, but this was a start. I fell into a deep sleep, snuggled up in Mercury’s arms and that's when it happened, my nightmare began, but this wasn't the same one I had before, it was different. I was in a cell, the walls were concrete and at the front of the cell were bars made of silver, I grabbed hold of one and the skin on my hand started to sizzle and burn, before melting. I wasn't going to stop trying to break them though and forced myself to fight through the pain. The skin on my arm started to melt the same way that my hands had and I screamed out in pain, when I finally managed to break the bars. I jumped out of the cell and my hands and arm started to slowly heal, the silver had been weakening my wolf’s healing ability, but thank god I was out of there. I turned to see where the exit was when I suddenly heard a deep voice behind me.

  “See, she got out. I told you we needed to shoot her up with wolfsbane or better yet make her drink it. She's too strong to take the needle.” The man said and then they appeared in front of me. One with red eyes and the other a wolf, I knew this wolf though.

  “I finally got you, b***h. Your mate is dead and you have no option but to submit to me. You can either be my mate or be hung up by silver chains, while your skin melts away.” The wolf said, smirking at me. 

  “HE’S NOT DEAD! YOU ASSHOLE OR I WOULD HAVE FELT IT!” I screamed out, shaking my head at him.

  “No he’s not, but you will be soon.” The man said, taking a silver dagger out and walking closer to me. I jumped up in bed, suddenly waking up and looked around the room, almost forgetting where I was. I looked at the time and it was five in the morning, I rubbed my face and lay back down, cuddling up to Mercury, who even though was still asleep he still pulled me closer to him. It was still way too early, so I decided to try and get some more sleep, but I had to force myself back to sleep and by the time I managed to drop off it was seven in the morning. I felt Mercury begin to stir and I knew it was time to get up, I yawned and stretched my whole body and got out of bed, heading straight to the bathroom. I did my business, washed my hands and then turned the shower on. I got in and poured shampoo in my hands and started to wash my hair, when I felt a pair of arms wrap around me.

  “You want some company?” Mercury whispered, as I was rinsing the shampoo out of my hair. I giggled and turned around to face him after I was finished.

  “You have suds on your forehead and nose.” I said, giggling at him and he got under the shower rinsing it off. Mercury’s face was dripping with water when he pulled me towards him and under the shower head, kissing me.

  “You know that we are short on time, so I wouldn't start something that you can't finish quickly.” I said, laughing as I broke the kiss. Mercury sighed, knowing I was right and let me go as we finished taking our shower. We got out of the shower, dried off and walked back into the bedroom to get dressed. I wore my blue jeans, a white top and heels, then did my hair in a ponytail and put a bit of make-up on. Mercury dressed in a pair black jeans, a white shirt and he had combed his hair back, he looked hot. We went downstairs and straight to the office, when one of the guards mind-linked both of us.

  “Alpha, Luna, Griffin and penny are here.” The guard said, mind-linking us.

  “Very well, let them inside.” Mercury replied and I found it weird that I could hear both of them in my head, but I would have to ask Mercury about it later. A few minutes later and there was a knock on the door.

  “Enter.” Mercury said, the door opened and Alpha Griffin and Luna Penny walked into the office. Alpha Griffin looked at me before nodding his head, while Luna Penny walked over and shook my hand, but she jerked back when she felt my power. Luna Penny looked at Alpha Griffin in shock and it looked like they were mind-linking each other. I walked over to Mercury and stood next to him, laying my hand on his shoulder.

  “So, Alpha Griffin, how can I help you today?” Mercury said, as I looked at the gray haired, bearded man.

  “I need my territory expanded, many members of the pack have had children and the pack is getting bigger.” Alpha Griffin said, as both he and Penny took a seat in front of Mercury’s desk.

  “Well, what do you want me to do about it? You live six hours away, you need to talk to the Alpha’s nearer to you.” Mercury said, but Alpha Griffin started chuckling and I did not like him one bit, there was something off about him.

  “I was hoping I could have some of yours and we could move here.” Alpha Griffin replied and Mercury shook his head.

  “I think not, now if you excuse us our business is over.” Mercury replied and Penny stood up, smirking.

  “I can tell who wears the pants in this pack. Does your mate have your balls in her pocket, Alpha? You might be the Mafia boss, but you are no Kingpin.” Penny said, making me growl at her disrespect.

  “If I was you I would shut that pretty little mouth of yours before your tongue gets ripped out of your mouth.” I said, growling at her and she started to laugh at me. I knew she was only doing this to try and see how powerful I was and that was her biggest mistake.

  “b***h please, you're nothing compared to me. I've been a werewolf since before you were even born.” Penny said and I had heard enough from this b***h. I jumped over the desk, grabbing her by the throat and tossed her through the office doors, making her crash into the wall opposite.

  “This meeting is over, get your asses and leave our territory. You have five minutes to get out or you will see my fury.” I calmly said and Alpha Griffin got up so fast that he knocked his chair over. He ran straight to his mate and I could see the guilt on his face over what she had done.

  “Im sorry, she got carried away. We had heard there was a powerful Mafia Queen and we wanted to meet her, but my mate took it too far.” Alpha Griffin said, picking his unconscious mate off the floor and carrying her out of the pack house. Mercury and I looked at each other and broke out into laughter.

  “Alright, I've had enough excitement, let’s go and relax. How about popcorn and a movie?” I said, trying to stop laughing at what just happened.

  “Alright, let’s do this.” Mercury replied, taking my hand in his. 

  Alpha Griffin’s P.O.V

  I cant believe how strong she is, Penny isn't a pushover and she is really strong, but Luna Cheyenne threw her around like she was a rag doll. Penny had finally come round and we both shifted, running off the territory and back to the car. As soon as we got back to the car I pulled my phone out of the glove box and dialled his number.

  “Hello, you were right. She's more powerful than you thought, she tossed Penny across the room without any trouble at all.” I said, as Penny got dressed and handed me some spare clothes we had in the boot of the car.

  “We need her, once we have her Mercury will do anything to get her back.” He replied and I sighed.

  “Yes sir, once we get her, you leave our pack alone and let us live in peace.” I said and hung up the phone.
