Chapter 4 Nikki

Mercury’s P.O.V

I was still awake and couldn't sleep, Cheyenne was way too quiet, and it was unnerving. I walked out of my room and went straight to her room, I opened her door and realized she was sound asleep. I walked into her room, picked up the empty plate, and wrote a note for her to read in in the morning, leaving a single lily on top of it.

Remember to make your bed and clean your room in the morning. We are not slobs here.

I turned around to walk out but decided to watch her sleep for a few minutes. She looked so peaceful. I was dying to kiss her and even though Asher was begging me inside my head, I knew I couldn't not yet and so I closed my eyes, turned and left, closing her bedroom door behind me. I took the plate down to the kitchen and put it in the sink, when suddenly a pair of hands covered my eyes.

“Guess who, baby?” A woman's voice said, and I took her hands off my eyes, turned around, and saw that it was Nikki. What the hell did this b***h want now? Didn't she get the message that I didn't want anything to do with her?

“Nikki, what are you doing here? I told you to stay away, we have no future. What did I tell you?” I asked, getting annoyed with her already, but she just pouted her lips, like that would make a difference to me.

“Aww, come on baby, you know you missed me.” Nikki said, trying to wrap her arms around my neck, making me and my wolf Asher growl.

“Actually no, I didn't. I sent you away, remember? We haven't slept together and I never gave you any reason to believe that you were going to be my Luna. I never imprinted on you, woman. Now leave or my wolf will rip your head right off your shoulders.” I said, still growling, but then she growled back at me, making me even more pissed off.

“MOTHERFUCKER! I’LL KILL YOU FIRST! YOU BASTARD!” Nikki screamed and slapped me across the face.

“You hit like a b***h. Trevor, get this b***h out of here, she is a rogue now and will remain a rogue. Now get this nasty b***h out of here.” I said, laughing at her feeble attempt to hurt me and pushed her over to Trevor, but she jerked away from him in a huff.

“Fine, I'll leave. another had imprinted on me already, but I wanted to give you another chance. You blew it, jerkface.” Nikki said, flipping her hair at me, and then she turned to face Trevor.

Trevor’s P.O.V

This b***h was unrelenting, why couldn't she get it through her thick head that she wasn’t all that? Nikki always had an attitude problem and made others feel worthless, she always pissed me off and the sooner she was gone the better. I had hoped she would get the message and never come back, but here she was again trying to worm her way back in. I wasn't going to let her take our Luna’s place, Cheyenne was a million times better than this w***e.

“If you ever touch me again, I'll kill you.” Nikki said, getting in my face and I just raised my eyebrow at her. I looked at Mercury and he just smiled, like he was holding back a laugh at how ridiculous this woman sounded and then he nodded his head to me. Finally. I brought my hand up and punched her, knocking her out.

“Take the trash out, will you trevor. I don’t care where or if she will be safe, just f**k her off.” Mercury said, I nodded and picked her up, throwing her over my shoulder. I'm going to need a really long hot shower after being so close to this b***h. I carried her outside and took her deep into the woods, way out of our territory. I knew that either rogue’s would find her and kill her or blood thirsty vampires would kill her. Either way she was going to be out of our lives for good and away from Luna Cheyenne. I tossed her unconscious body onto the ground and left to return back to the house.

“It's done.” I said, walking into the kitchen and Mercury nodded. I took my leave from him and went home, desperate for a shower. I scrubbed every inch of my body, wanting to get her stench off me and when I was finally done I got out, dried off and got into bed. I lay there for a while, looking up at the ceiling and thanking the Moon Goddess.

“Thank the Goddess that b***h is gone, I never liked her, I knew she was no good and tonight proved my point.” I said to myself, before drifting off to sleep.

Nikki’s P.O.V

I woke up on the ground with a pounding headache and when I looked around I was in the middle of a forest. Where the hell am I? I got up, dusted myself off and took a look around, trying to figure out where I was. I started to sniff the air, but nothing seemed familiar, I was in the middle of nowhere. I started to walk, but I didn't have a clue on where I was heading. The last thing I remember is getting into an argument with Mercury and Trevor punching me, then I woke up here.

“How dare he do this to me! I deserve to be Luna, I'm better than anyone else he will ever meet and he knows it. How dare he choose someone else over me. Doesn't he know who I am!!” I angrily said, kicking at the ground. Suddenly I heard the sound of branches snapping behind me.

“What the hell, man!” I shouted out, as I turned around. I knew it wasn't a rogue because it didn't smell like rotten eggs or nasty pig smell. I started to slowly back away and then turned, running as fast as I could, but I was grabbed round the waist by a pair of big hands and turned around to face it. I looked up into a pair of blood red eyes and before I could scream, say anything or fight back, its fangs had pierced my neck and ripped through me, draining my blood.

Blood Thirsty Vampires P.O.V

She screamed out in pain and fear, but I didn't care, I was hungry. I pulled my fangs out after I was finished and grabbed her by the neck, twisting it until it was broken. I knew she was dead, but she already served her purpose and fed me. I stepped on her neck breaking and crushing it further and then turned to leave, her body would be left for the bugs and animals. I must admit I was curious to see how long it would take them to devour her out here, so I jumped up into one of the trees and looked down watching. It didn't take long for the ants, maggots and flies to start climbing over her and eating her. They could smell her already decaying corpse and they were just as hungry as I was before she came, so yet again she would serve as a purpose, by feeding them. I carried on watching until they were finished and her body was now disfigured with tiny holes all over her body. I wonder what's going to happen next? I decided to carry on watching, this was fascinating and even though I had seen corpses before, I had never stopped to see what happened after I had finished with them. A few foxes came and started ripping her body to shreds, tearing the flesh from her bones and fighting over the scraps, when they were full they left and then some wild boars came and took what they wanted, until all that was left of her was bones. It was interesting to see and passed the time, but now I was hungry again after watching them eat, so I jumped down and went to find my next meal, leaving her as nothing more than another pile of bones in the woods.
