Chapter Nineteen
Luna
Horror kept me frozen, and I stared at the bouncer whose name I didn’t know, hating he witnessed the most f****d up, embarrassing moment of my goddamn life. I wanted to sink into the mattress and disappear, I wanted to run after Rian and apologize. More than anything, I wanted his arms around me, his forgiveness whispered in my ear.
The pain, the heartache, in his eyes tore my insides apart. I’d hurt him terribly, and my stomach clenched to the point I stumbled to the bathroom and hugged the toilet, bringing back up the water I’d sucked down.
My backside stung, and tears rolled down my cheeks as sobs ripped through me. I sat against the cool tile wall, regardless of my stinging backside, arms around my legs, my face buried in my knees.
“Luna?”
