When I look over to where Alice is sitting with the half - finished breakfast in her plate , I feel my stomach turn and my pulse race , I never thought that just a week away from her was going to cause so much chaos in my mind , and it doesn't help the fact that that she looks so beautiful with her face completely pale and confused expression , it seems as if she is trying to decipher the secrets of the universe while I argue with Daisy for being rude to her , something that I feared from the beginning , but did not expect that I will have to defend Alice from my sister within minutes of her arrival.
