Calissa’s POV
I went to bed early last night. I was completely exhausted from having such a long swim to get here. My aunt Maisie told me that she would have me a bed of my own soon, but she made me one on the floor out of extra pillows. Although the apartment did not have water inside it, it was still cold. This kingdom had been built into the rock wall behind the canyon on both sides. I had been wondering how they slept properly. It is hard to sleep in the water. It would eventually take you right up to the ceiling of the room. Hitting those rocks up there would hurt, and everyone would have marks and bruises on them.
