Chapter 13
Calissa’s POV
Varon and I headed out to the pier to grab some dinner. We had sandwiches for lunch, and I wanted to go by the pier one more time before I left. We have a lot of fun riding the roller coaster and the Ferris Wheel. We grabbed some food and then later on sat on one of the benches to look out at the water while the sun went down. We headed down the steps on the south side of the pier to walk back home. We both walked in silence as we passed group after group of surfers. I know a couple of them. I was even friends with three of them. I always gave them free ice water and used my discount to get them some food sometimes.
