Kano’s POV
How did I not know what Doris had been doing? How did I not see it properly? Ronan was right, the relationship with my bonus children had almost been destroyed. I am always too busy to see them. When I do have some time, Doris has a family event planned for our family. She had gotten me into this routine, and I didn’t even realize what she had done. I knew that she didn’t like humans to begin with, and felt they were below us, but she had gone too far with this. I am going back to my chambers to talk, but I am going to speak to my son, Troy, first.
I knew that Doris felt that, as a Nereid, her ancestors were better than most others. They only deferred to Poseidon himself, and he married a Nereid too. They have been noted as being some of the most beautiful mermaids
