Calissa’s POV
That first race was the most fun that I have ever had in my life. Peter is fast, like really fast. He wasn’t just going to hand the race to me, and I was glad. I don’t want to win anything without having earned it. Peter had won fair and square, but I think I surprised him. I was right with him at the end, he just managed to stay ahead of me. I enjoyed getting to swim fast like that. The feel of the water gliding past me was exhilarating. I also liked how things were coming to me so quickly. I think that he was happy about how well I had kept up with him.
