I watched as an eerie smile grew across Doris’s face, and I knew exactly what she was thinking. Our daughters Mariela and Alana also had an unsettling smile on their faces as well. I cannot wait for tomorrow to be over and done with. I have been upset ever since I heard that Calissa’s life was going to be threatened the week before her test. I will not be able to be calm until I know that Calissa is safe. Until then, I know that there is no way I can get past worrying about it.
