Ronan’s POV
“Callie, let’s just focus on your training for now. We can discuss things further at lunch. I don’t want you to be so fixated on your problems here. You need to give all your focus to the training, OK? It truly could save your life,” I told her as gently as I could.
I could tell that she was a little panicked at the moment. I think hearing what I told her got in her head. I know that she wanted to meet her father. I can understand that, but right now it is not going to happen. Especially after the phone call I got before bed last night from my brother. He kept spewing some crap about Callie, and how she insulted him, Doris, and their family. I already knew that something happened at his dinner with two of the visitors. I just didn’t know what happened just yet.
