Calissa’s POV
Things were tense after Iris was taken from the apartment. I felt terrible at what she had said. I knew that she just said it to attack me, but she also inadvertently drew Athena into it. Each one of her children was angry enough to fight for her honor, and Christos was visibly upset. He went over to her to draw her in for a hug and a kiss, murmuring words of comfort into her ear.
Athena laughed and said, “Well, tell me how you really feel, Iris.” It did lighten the mood, but I knew that all of Iris’s comments were directed at me. I have made an enemy.
