Calissa’s POV
Peter was right. I was scared of going back into the water. The next morning, Peter wanted me to start training with the protection he designed for me. It was made from tight chainmail to protect me from being bitten. It won’t stop the pain from the bite itself. That alone can cause your bones to break. It is supposed to prevent the loss of a limb. It is a two-piece set that is supposed to cover and protect me, but still allow me free-range of motion in the test. The top part went down to my waist, and it had long sleeves on it. The suit being in two pieces helped, as I could still use my diving belt and reach for my knife in an emergency.
