Doris’s POV
It is almost time; they should be here at any moment. I am so excited, I cannot be still. I am pacing back and forth at the entrance to our home, waiting to hear the knock on our door. I wanted to be the one who opened the door. I wanted her to know that I was the one in control here. I knew that she was not coming alone. I am sure Ronan, Peter, and Asherah will be coming with her. Kano told me last night to put four additional place settings out, so I knew she would have at least three people with her. Everyone else is already here and seated at the table. I left two spots on either side of the table, on Kano’s end. I tried to put them on my end of the table, but Kano refused to let that happen.
