Asherah made several comments defending me during dinner tonight, as Sirena was very vocal about my death. I was sitting in the living room and listening to their conversation. Since they couldn’t see me, and they believed me to be dead, they didn’t hold back at all with their opinions.
“All that work, Dad, and for what? Calissa is dead, and gone. No need for the test anymore. I am glad that it is over. Calissa was too bold, confronting the royal family like she did. I cannot believe she had the nerve to try to take King Andreas away from Mariela like that. They are bound together by the contract. Even if he wanted to be with Calissa, he couldn’t.
