Chapter 6: Completing The Wall

After travelling for around 5 days they finally reached Savan Village. Wein's mans were all carrying heavy equipments which will help make the building process faster. But they had to carry all that which resulted in slow travel, because the villagers don't have an 'Inventory' like the player so they have to carry it manually.

After entering the village Kurohito and group was greeted by the villagers, and the Village Chief. The villagers all seemed soo excited when they saw Kurohito come back.

After having a night's rest Kurohito immediately wanted to start working on the wall. But he noticed that the stones to build the wall was not enough, he ordered miners to mine stone while he was gone but it seems they didn't mine enough.

He went to the mines to see the problem. The mine is located in the outskirts of the village. The mine is around 140 blocks deep which you have to walk to get there, it's really dark and sometimes even monsters lurk there.

"Ruise' is there any problems in the mine..."

"Why is the mining process going soo slowly..."

Kurohito asked 'Ruise'. Ruise is in-charge of the mines...

"It's because... it's not the mining part which is taking long..."

"But it takes time to carry the stone from down in the mine to the surface..."

Ruise replied explaining the situation...

Then Kurohito remembered villagers don't have an inventory so they can't carry too many blocks. After mining a block it turns into a smaller item sized block which they have to carry all the way up from the mine to the surface. Which is slow as they can only carry around 5-6 mini items at once.

Seeing as this method was really inefficient as the Villagers were mining for more than 10 days and still didn't have enough stone... So he comes up with a plan which is much more existing and fun.

Firstly he makes the entrance to the mine much bigger. Then lays down rail tracks and powered rail tracks which he rigs with 'Redstone'. Then he builds an automated chest sorter at the surface to collect items which will sort them by category in chests. And then he uses 'Chest Minecarts' to transport the items from the mine to the surface, which the villagers can do.

Secondly he builds a Redstone contraption below the mine, an 'Automatic TNT Miner?' which uses TNT and Redstone to operate. This contraption can mine out the stones automatically by pressing a button it will clear a large area. The villagers then just have to put the items in the Chest Minecart and send it up which will get automatically unloaded. With this method mining will become much faster and easier.

And thus he resolves this issue. Now in few days there will be enough stone mined to build the wall.

"Wow... with this mining stones will be easy..."

Ruise says while staring at the redstone contraption as it works, he's impressed by it.

"This is just a simple 'Slime Flying Machine with a TnT blaster' it's not that fancy, this is still a manually operated one."

"Which is enough for now..."

Kurohito replied, while explaining how the contraption works. He looked really happy and enthusiastic about it...

Kurohito was down in the mine overseeing the Mining Machine, as the machine can break easily he was there to fix it if that happens.

The villagers gathering up all the stone and resources that were dropped by the TnT Machine.

As now the resources problem is solved Kurohito starts to plan out the layout of the walls. He first marks it with wool blocks laying an outline making sure the position and area is good, marking the entrance gate and traps. The wall was designed in a Hexagonal shape with each corner having and tall tower where archers will guard. Then the builder villagers started building the wall following the outline.

After 6 days of continuous building the wall is half way done, with the help of 10 builders and Kurohito working on it the building process was going smoothly. All the corner towers were completed first then lower walls joining them.

While Kurohito was working on building the wall, the Pillagers on the other hand were keeping a close eye on us. Watching everything we were doing. Some Pillagers had camps close to the Village to spy on us. As they were planning on Raiding the village. And no-one from the village seemed to notice.

[In the Pillager Kingdom far from the Village. The Pillager's Captain and Pillagers who were spying are having a conversation]

"Captain I have something to say..."

Pillager 1 asks permission to speak while bowing down infront of the Captain.

"Go ahead..."

The Captain give permission...

"Captain, It seems that the Savan Village is building a Wall surrounding it to stop us from Raiding."

"They are already halfway done, if we don't take action, I believe it may be difficult to do anything..."

Pillager 1 says...

"A wall you say..."

"But how... how can they build a wall this quick..."

"Didn't we killed all the Builders they had... or were some in hiding..."

Captain says... with a frustrated look on his face.

"if I may speak..."

Pillager 2 asks permission to speak in front of the Captain

"Go ahead..." Captain allows

"It seems they have brought some builders from other villages..."

Pillager 2 walks Infront and speaks...

"It seems the builders working on the wall are from Rieburgh Kingdom"

Pillager 2 looks at the Captain... while making a serious face.

"Umm and aslo... I have spotted an odd looking villagers among them, and I don't think he's from that village."

"And I believe he's the one overlooking the building of the walls..."

"That's what I spotted at least..."

Pillager 2 speaks and states his opinion while looking serious...

"An odd looking villager you say..."

"How so...?"

Captain asked, with an heavey voice a voice that echoed through the room.

"Ummm... odd that he looked completely different from the villagers..."

"He was wearing a Light Blue shirt and Dark Blue pants..."

"He was also Building some weird things using redstone that I don't understand..."

Pillager 2 replied

"You said he was wearing Blue Shirt and Pants, did I hear that right...?"

Captain mutters to himself

"No... no.. it can't be, it can't be true..."

Captain thinks out loud as he seemed pale

"What's the matter Captain..."

"Are you not alright???"

Pillager 1 and 2 both asked... while concerned...

"If what you said is true that means the odd villager you speak of is a Player"

Captain said... while making a concerned, serious and agitated face.

[Back in the village]

While the builders are working on building the wall and miners are working to gather resources, other villagers such as the Guard Villagers are working to improve their strength. They are training day and night non-stop. They are also trying to get used to the new equipments that Kurohito made. As he upgraded all the iron equipments that they had to diamond equipment as diamond is stronger.

Kurohito is working on making traps around the walls and making TNT cannon on top of the wall towers. He instructs some villagers on how to operate the TNT cannon.

"Look here everyone, this is called a TNT cannon it will launch TNT that will blow at the target."

Kurohito trying to explain TNT cannon to the villagers.

"Now look carefully, if you mess up it will blow up... so follow the exact steps as me..."

"First to aim, tap on this repeater and change their tics."

"The lower the tic the further the TNT will land."

He explained how to operate TNT cannon to the villagers which they try it out...

A villager using the Cannon

"Tap this and wait..."

TnT come out and starts flashing...

Tic...

Tic..

Tic.

B O O O O O O O M..... a TNT flys out in the distance...

"Whooa... this went really far..."

A villager that operated the cannon said...

"I'll try changing the tics..."

"And tap..."

Tic...

Tic..

Tic.

B O O O O M..... TnT flys out... but this time a bit closer...

He tried to change the tic and used the cannon again...

"Wow this is really cool..."

"With this the Pillagers might not even be able to come close..."

The villager seemed too exited while saying...

...

Like this 2 weeks have passed and the wall is almost at its completion only the gates are left to complete...

When it seemed everything was going accordingly, the worst thing imaginable happened.

As the sky turned grey, fog began to appear and horns were being blow from all the directions surrounding the village.

Kurohito gets a UI Pop-up saying [PILLAGERS RAGE: DEFEND THE VILLAGE FROM BEING RAIDED] and when Kurohito looks from above the walls he sees the Pillager Captain rising his banner as all Pillagers army began swarming towards the village...

It's all out war Now...
