The crowd gasped, turning sympathetic gazes towards Sophia. Offending Marc, Johnson, and Joan simultaneously meant that survival in Crownspire was nearly impossible. The newly reformed Sophia Group couldn't possibly withstand the combined commercial onslaught of three powerful families.
