It was finally time to leave for Greece and surprise my sister. She thought we would be working and had no idea we would show up for her wedding, and on top of that, spend the entire week with my family.
Dad had mentioned he would send someone to pick us up at the private air strip, which was a great idea. When Emmeline came back from shopping with Tory, she ignored me for the rest of the afternoon just as I noticed how nervous she looked.
No matter how much I tried to get it out of her, she wouldn’t tell me what was wrong. But I was sure it had to do with my family.
The ride to my parents’ house might be what she needs to calm down and prepare herself mentally.
Freddie and I were waiting for the girls by my private jet, both of us looking at our watches.
